You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- MIDNIGHT IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.Hi! I’m Midnight, your future best friend. I’m known for my sweet nature and love for both dogs and cats. Curious and brave, I enjoy exploring every nook. Cuddling? Count me in! I’m perfect for snuggle sessions after a fun day, I love your lap!. I'm still mastering house training, but I’m eager to learn, especially with someone as patient as you. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy and laughter to your home, I’m your guy. Let’s start our adventure together! My adoption includes neuter, DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines, a microchip with registration, and parasite control. Please note I'm on a special diet, Hill's C/D, as I've had bladder stones in the past. I'll need to be on this diet full-time. I don't poo in the house, but I sometimes have pee accidents and need to potty frequently or be crated. I can also wear a peekeeper!Midnight is in a foster home near Staunton, VAPlease apply at https://highlandcountyhumanesociety.org/available-animals/540.468.1575info@highlandcountyhumanesociety.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 16, 2026, 8:28 pm

She has been in a loving home for almost 8 years, and is now in need of a home in which the owner is home more often. Bella has been through extensive training, and knows many commands including sit, stay, down, wait, touch, come, place, and crate.  She is house-trained, crate trained, and great on a leash. She is up to date on vetting and presently has a clean bill of health. She is great with people and children. She has only been around a baby once, and seemed reserved and a bit scared of her. The reason Bella was returned to our rescue is because of her anxiety when left alone for long periods of time. Several medications have been tried, but she may still bark when left alone in her crate. Her foster has one medication which does help her for 2 to 3 hours before she gets anxious. Given her owner moved into a townhouse, and works full time, this will not work with neighbors potentially hearing her barking.  Presently, Bella stays with one foster, and another one helps if the present foster is gone for a long day and evening. If you are interested in either being her long term foster or adopter, the foster that has her is willing to provide you with support or free boarding for anytime it is needed. This foster lives in Eastern Baltimore County area and says she is just the perfect loving companion for someone who is home most of the time. Abandoned by his family while only a puppy, he is looking for a person or family who will let him love them with all his heart. A place that will give him a warm bed, food in his dish, and, best of all, who will love him back for the friendly little guy that he is. You will get to see the tail wags, the joy in his eyes when he sees you for the first time each morning, and feel the happiness of his small body when he knows he is safe and cared for. He really still is a puppy. Imagine him playing in your backyard, going for walks with you to see the world. At only 14 lbs., he will be easy to take with you any time, anywhere. He is ready and waiting to start living life as he was meant to. He wants so much to hear 'Good boy!' And you can make it happen for him! Burger is good with dogs.  He is cat selective so doesn't get along with all cats.    If you are interested in Burger, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 22, 2026, 10:51 am
