Story
I bought my dog off of a website, he was just a puppy back then he was about 4 months old. Mason is extremely friendly and playful he likes to be close to his mom/Dad but he also likes his space too. Mason is 8 years and 6 months old now and I swear he still thinks he's a puppy lol. Mason is mat or cage trained as far as the bathroom. Mason would need a owner who can spend time with him or who is home a lot because he doesn't like to be alone. Mason also needs someone who can afford him he has anal gland issues so he goes to the vet every month to get them drained or whatever they do and this cost around $90 a visit. I'm rehoming my dog because I can't afford him any longer. He will come with everything u would need to care for him. Food, toys, poppy mats that are washable, food, a kennel and water and food dishes we also have pet stairs for him because my bed is super high off the floor. I'm getting desperate no animal shelters have space for him. I don't know what else to do.

Story
Meet AJ – The Gentle Soul of Our Backstreet Boys Litter AJ is a 2-year-old, 13-pound black and tan Chihuahua/Terrier mix with the sweetest heart you could ever hope to meet. He was one of our “Backstreet Boys,” a group of little dogs who were cruelly dumped and left to survive in the woods for weeks. Thankfully, we were able to rescue AJ along with the others, and now he’s patiently waiting for the happy ending he has always deserved. AJ is heartworm negative, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventions, and ready to find a family of his own. The best way to describe AJ? A gentle little lap dog who just wants to feel safe. Because of everything he’s been through, new situations can make him a little nervous. Loud noises and sudden movements can be scary, and he prefers the comfort of a cozy dog bed where he knows he’s safe. But once AJ realizes he’s loved and protected, he completely melts into you. He becomes the happiest little guy, soaking up every bit of affection and happily curling up in your lap. His adorable little ears have a few jagged edges—a reminder of the weeks he spent trying to survive on his own in the woods. Those tiny scars don’t take away from his charm. If anything, they tell the story of just how resilient this precious little guy is. AJ gets along well with other dogs and has done wonderfully with my respectful 8-year-old. Because he’s sensitive and can become frightened when handled roughly, we’d recommend a home without very young toddlers who may unintentionally scare him. AJ doesn’t need a perfect family—he just needs a patient one. Someone who understands that trust takes a little time and that the greatest love often comes from the dogs who’ve had to fight the hardest for it.  He is crate and potty trained. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend, a warm lap companion, and a dog who will love you with his whole heart, AJ may just be the one you’ve been waiting for. If you would like to have AJ join your family please fill out an adoption application.  His $450 adoption fee covers medical up to adoption to cover vaccines, neuter, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY ##2767387##
