Meet Chiquita Chiquita is a gentle 10-year-old, 12 lb poodle–schnauzer mix with the sweetest heart. Her world was recently turned upside down when her beloved owner passed away. Through all the changes, Chiquita has shown nothing but love and a longing to be close to people. She adores cuddling, curling up in laps, and simply being near those who care for her. Chiquita has spent most of her life outdoors, so she isn’t fully housebroken yet—but she is eager to learn with patience and kindness. She currently lives peacefully with two other dogs and would do well in a home with furry companions or as the center of someone’s attention. This little soul has so much love left to give. All she needs is a safe, gentle place to call home and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her days. Meet Dobi! Dobi is a mini Chihuahua terrier mix with a heart full of love and a strong desire to be close to his people. He truly adores everyone he meets and is happiest when he’s right by your side or resting at your feet, soaking up companionship. Dobi’s gentle, loyal nature makes him a wonderful little shadow and an incredibly devoted friend. After losing his owner, Dobi is adjusting to a new chapter in life and doing his best as he settles in. He plays well with dogs his own size and enjoys their company, but he needs a bit more time and positive socialization to feel comfortable around larger dogs. Because of this, Dobi would thrive as an only dog where he can soak up all the love and be someone’s loyal companion. Dobi is still working on his house manners when it comes to potting and with a consistent routine he’s thrived! Dobi’s biggest need in a home is structure, routine, and boundaries. Dobi also needs slow introductions to men, due to his past traumas he tends to bond with females more easily and needs more time to warm up to men in the house. Dobi is ready for a calm, loving home where he can feel secure again and share his big heart with someone special. Could Dobi be the sweet, devoted companion you’ve been searching for?
