Story
Sweet and spunky! Hi there! I’m Delfina or Daphne– a sweet and spunky 2.5-year-old Poodle Mix, weighing about 15 pounds. I may be small, but I’ve got a big heart and an even bigger personality! Thanks to the wonderful folks at TAP, I was rescued from an LA shelter just in time. I had a broken jaw when they found me, but don’t worry – it’s all healed up now, and I’m feeling better than ever. Now I’m on the lookout for my perfect furever family! I’m full of energy and love to run, play, and explore. Some of my favorite activities include tug toys and going on walks.  I also adore being the center of attention and hanging out with doggie friends. But when the excitement winds down, I’m just as happy snuggling up with you. I’ll even sleep in your arms all night long without moving a muscle — seriously, I’m the ultimate cuddle bug. I’ve got a silly, lovable personality that’s sure to make you laugh. I’m working hard on my potty training — just a few accidents here and there — and I’m a total pro on the leash. I can be a little territorial around other pups, but I truly enjoy their company and love to play once we’re all friends. That said, I do get scared easily and have a big bark when I’m feeling anxious. I also struggle with separation anxiety, so I’d really thrive in a home where I’m not left alone for long stretches. If I get too lonely, I might rummage through the trash to cope.  But hey, I’m healthy overall and already spayed, so I’m ready to go! My dream home would include kiddos (I LOVE attention!) and maybe a furry sibling or two, as long as we hit it off. I seem to get along with cats just fine, too. More than anything, though, I just want to be part of a loving family who’s ready for a loyal, playful, snuggly companion like me. My adoption fee is $450 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.     ##2198718##

ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Jimmy, a joyful 7-year-old toy poodle with a big heart and even bigger personality. Weighing just 10 pounds, Jimmy is full of energy, charm, and love. His favorite thing in the world? Fetching his stuffed toys—so a home with a yard to run and play in would be ideal. and a small sibling dog to play with would be great. Jimmy loves long walks but somehow still has energy to play fetch the moment he gets home. He’ll happily entertain himself or gently nudge you to toss his toy from your chair. His toy obsession is adorable and entertaining, though his enthusiasm during tug-of-war can get a little feisty—so he may be better suited to a home without very young children. He’s fully crate-trained, potty-trained, and thrives on routine. Jimmy will let you know when he needs to go out with a quiet whimper, and when he’s ready to rest, he’ll snuggle into his crate or curl up right beside you—belly rubs welcome! Jimmy is a loyal companion at home or on outings, and he’s calm and quiet when left alone for a few hours. He may give a quick bark at other dogs, but otherwise, he’s silent and sweet. He eats twice daily—kibble with freeze-dried chicken, a splash of broth, and a few treats (in moderation, of course!). Jimmy is loving, sweet, and incredibly special. If you're ready for a best friend who will keep you smiling and shower you with love, Jimmy is your guy! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped.  His adoption fee is $300.  All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to  www.secondchancedogrescue.org  and complete an application today!    All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.  May 5, 2025, 6:33 pm

Story
Meet Morita, this little piranha is the cutest baby you will ever meet. A little puppy full of energy and excited to make new friends. She loves to play with dogs and cats, she is usually very friendly and sociable, she adapts easily to new environments, and loves to play with balls, small stuffed animals, ropes, and anything you give her, she is in her naughty stage, and she is too adorable, easy to train, she is in potty training, she still has some accidents but it is normal in a puppy. He is also learning to walk on leash. She has no problem wearing clothes, bows or having a ponytail. She likes to sleep in a big and comfortable bed, or sleep in bed with you, she usually follows you around the house running, even if you walk, she is tiny, haha, she likes to play biting (but it doesn't hurt, it's just because she is a puppy) Intelligent, adorable, loving, she likes to give lots of kisses, she welcomes you with joy when you come home, and she knows how to ride in a car.
