Story
Teddy is a 6-year-old male Cockapoo. My brother got him when he was a puppy. Unfortunately, my brother passed away, and since then our family has been working a lot and hasn’t been able to give him the time and attention he deserves. Teddy has a best friend named Cali, a 9-year-old female Maltipoo, and they’ve been together for years. Because they’re very bonded, we would really prefer that they go to a new home together. Both dogs were originally acquired as puppies and have grown up in a home environment. We’re looking for a loving, stable home where they will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship. Ideally, the new owner would have the time to keep them active, give them affection, and allow them to stay together as they are very attached to each other. They are sweet, friendly, loyal, and affectionate dogs. Our main goal is to find a caring family or individual who can give them the time, love, and stability they deserve.

Story
15-year-old Roger was surrendered to the San Diego Humane Society when the only family he had ever known moved away and didn't take him along. He weighs 12 lbs., and every ounce of him is sweetness and love. Roger lived in a Foster home for a month after becoming a Frosted Face, and this helped us learn a lot about his personality, behavior in a home, and how he does living with another dog. (Spoiler alert: Roger is a superstar!) Roger's foster mom shares: “After a month of fostering Roger, I don’t know why he is still waiting for his forever home. He is the sweetest, cutest guy ever! When Roger first came to our home, he was wandering around bumping into this and didn’t know what to do, but now he is aging in reverse! Here's what I've learned about Roger: * when he knows you're his person, he gets so excited when he sees you’re home! And who wouldn’t love a sweetheart greeting you after a long day at work? * he is great with dogs, big or small, cats, children and small animals! He is the perfect little package! * he walks wonderfully on a leash, and when he kicks it into gear, his ears just flop around super adorably! * he is good about being groomed * he rides nicely in the car * when he is home by himself, he settles after a little bit and just goes about his business * he is a foodie! He loves bully sticks from Tuesdays natural dog company * he gives off a puppy vibe with his adorable face and his random spurts of energy! * in the evening, I rock him like a baby, which he absolutely loves. Roger is a very special sweetheart who just wants love and closeness with his person. Right now, he’s patiently waiting for his forever family—someone who will give him a cozy couch, gentle care, and all the love he deserves in his golden years." If you’re looking for a loyal little bestie who will fill your days with love, companionship, and cuddles, Roger is waiting for you! To meet Roger, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org

Story
PLEASE COMPLETE OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT WWW.LOVEBUGSRESCUE.ORG IF YOU'D LIKE TO MEET RUBY - PLEASE READ HER FULL LISTING BEFORE APPLYING TO ADOPT: Meet Ruby, a resilient little soul with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to quit. Ruby is a 5-year-old, 18 lb Maltese mix who came from an unimaginably neglectful situation. She had been living outside in a filthy crate covered by a tarp, with a severely matted coat. She had such advanced dental disease that her jaw fractured as a result. Despite everything she has endured, Ruby has continued to amaze us every step of the way with her strength, sweetness, and determination. Ruby has recovered from her dental and her jaw fracture is healed. You can tell how much happier she is as a result! Ruby's back left leg has a partial amputation, which we don't know the history of. It doesn't seem to bother her and she gets around just fine on 3 legs. We are working to get her fitted for a prosthetic that she can wear long term. Ruby was also diagnosed with a heart murmur, but she is on medication for this and hasn't been symptomatic. This should be monitored with follow up echocardiograms as needed. Since coming into rescue, she has grown stronger and healthier, blossoming into a happy little companion who is ready to begin her next chapter with a loving family of her own. Ruby is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys the company of other dogs and even cats too. She loves car rides, adventures, and being close to her people. Ruby is also extremely well-mannered in the home and has a calm, gentle presence that makes her such a joy to be around. After all she’s been through, Ruby deserves a family who will cherish her, spoil her, and show her the love and safety she’s always deserved. Ruby's adoption fee is $400 and that includes her spay, microchip, vaccines current, deworming, flea treatment, recent dental and grooming. Apply to adopt at www.lovebugsrescue.org

Story
Cole is a loving sweet dog that is great around dogs, children and people. Doesn't have a mean bone in his body. You can take food away from him, take toys away, etc and he doesn't react. He is my mother's dog and she has had him since birth. He is the son of my poodle. He has cataracts so he finds his way around and learns where things are so he doesn't keep bumping into them. My mom fell and shattered her hip and femur down to her knee and will not walk again. She cannot keep him since she is in a nursing home. I have several dogs and cannot keep another one and need to find a home for him. I hope you can help me find a new home for him quickly.
