Cole is a loving sweet dog that is great around dogs, children and people. Doesn't have a mean bone in his body. You can take food away from him, take toys away, etc and he doesn't react. He is my mother's dog and she has had him since birth. He is the son of my poodle. He has cataracts so he finds his way around and learns where things are so he doesn't keep bumping into them. My mom fell and shattered her hip and femur down to her knee and will not walk again. She cannot keep him since she is in a nursing home. I have several dogs and cannot keep another one and need to find a home for him. I hope you can help me find a new home for him quickly.

Peg is sweet, affectionate, fun and would make a great companion Peg is crate trained, doing great on her house training, and is good with other dogs and children. She would probably do best with kids over 6 years old as she is playful and active. Peg enjoys walks and is easy on the leash, likes to play with toys and chase balls, and is learning a few basic commands at her foster home. Donegal arrived at South LA Shelter as a stray, and sadly, no one came to claim him. We welcomed him as a Frosted Face on March 17th. Donegal is estimated to be 10 years old and weighs 13 lbs. Donegal went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about him in a home environment. Donegal is such a special boy that the fling turned into a long-term foster until he is adopted! His foster mom shares: "Donegal showed us more of his personality each day. Here's what we learned about him. On walks and out in the world: Walks well on leash and ignores most dogs. At times, he’ll let them know he’s not interested (a quick bark or growl), but he responds well to redirection with treats or a little distance. He’s joined me for outings at a coffee shop and a brewery and did great, contentedly relaxing on my lap most of the time. He also loves going to the park to walk around and relax on a blanket. At home: Excellent house manners with no accidents in the house. Sleeps through the night quietly in his crate. Calm and comfortable when left home alone for a few hours (up to 4 hours so far), with no signs of separation anxiety. Personality: Is starting to come out of his shell and enjoy affection, especially side-of-the-head rubs, chest scratches, and ear scratches. He’ll happily lean right into you for more. Likes to follow us around the house and be near his people. Big fan of In-N-Out pup patties! What he needs: He benefits from a gentle, patient approach with handling, especially around his head and face (grooming, eye drops, vet care). This can be a sensitive area for him, and when unsure, he may react defensively. Giving him time to build trust and using a slow, calm approach helps him feel safe and confident. Donegal is a sensitive, affectionate boy who thrives in a home that will go slow with him, give him time to build trust, and help him feel safe and confident."
