Story
Loki is a two year old cockapoo who I love with all my heart. He has had anxiety issues ever since I got him,he seems afraid of everything. The problem now is he is attacking my one dog, whom he has been with his whole life. I have health problems where I have a caregiver here every day, and due for surgery in about a month. I just can't keep doing this, the vet tried two different medications that won't work. The problem is jealousy he doesn't want any other animal near me or he goes after them. It's not fair to the other dogs in the house. He needs a good home, with someone that will be patient with him, because he will be scared at first. I want someone with no other animals. I like them to have a yard because he likes to run around.. he not an outside dog!. He is used to being cuddled and spoiled and I expect the same from the new owner, he is a good dog, I just wish he wouldn't do this.. thanks kim

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Obi joined our rescue on January 13, 2026, through absolutely no fault of his own. He was surrendered when his owner had to go to jail—a heartbreaking situation, as it’s clear Obi was deeply loved. His owner was very upset about having to give up her pets, and we promised we would find him a wonderful home! Obi is estimated to be around one year old, a Lhasa Apso/Poodle (Lhasapoo) mix, and weighs about 20 pounds. While he hadn’t received prior veterinary care, he is now on the right track: he will be examined by our vets and receive vaccines on 1/19, with his neuter scheduled for 1/26. This sweet boy is an absolute joy! Obi is happy to see everyone he meets and does wonderfully with kids, dogs, and cats. He has a loving, friendly personality that makes him easy to fall in love with. Although he was clearly well loved, Obi didn’t receive much formal training, so we are currently working with him on crate training, house training, and leash walking. He’s eager, sweet, and learning more every day—he’ll thrive with a family willing to continue his training and give him the stability he deserves. Obi is ready for a fresh start and a forever home full of love. Obi will be current on vaccines, preventative, fecal, neutered and microchipped for his new family. The adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in this precious doggy, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.netThank you for your interest in a rescue dog!PA Kennel License #18991Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 28, 2026, 7:45 pm

ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Cracker, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. The CSAC volunteer said that I was quiet and sweet. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. Story
Lucas is such a sweet loving boy who gets along great with kids, dogs and cats. He loves to snuggle and is very quiet. I got him from a neighbor who could not care for him anymore and took him to get his check up, shots and deworming. I work a lot of hours and can not care for him. My mom was to assist since she works from home, but she suffered a shoulder injury. Lucas needs help with potty training, but other than that he’s a great dog! I want to see him go to a good home where he can be trained. He loves to learn! He is crate trained as well. He comes with his crate, sweater, food, bowls, collar, bed, toothpaste, 6 months supply of nexguard and records from the vet.
