Story
Apollo came from a recent litter back in August. We originally planned to keep him, but due to a change in our family situation, that is no longer possible. He is a great, loving puppy who does really well with kids, other dogs, and cats. He is crate trained, and while he is almost fully house trained, he still needs a little consistency and patience since he is still a puppy.

ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hello, my name is Daisy. My owner could no longer take care of me so she asked CSAC to help find me a new home. I am house trained, crate trained, and I love to run around a fenced in yard. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. Hope to see you soon. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Tara, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I am scared because I have not been around a lot of people or lived in a home as a pet. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. I will need time to trust people who want what is best for me and are not going to hurt me. That is something I have not experienced so far in my life. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. Good with dogs,
Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Cookie Collette—affectionately known as CC—is a gentle 7-year-old Cockapoo with the softest, silkiest fur and an even softer heart. After spending her early years as a breeder, CC is now discovering what it truly means to just be a dog—and she’s ready to find a patient, loving home to continue that journey.   CC is wonderfully dog-friendly and currently lives peacefully with three pugs. She’s also cat-friendly, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household. She does well in a crate but has also proven to be non-destructive when given freedom to roam.   Because of her past, CC thrives in a calm, quiet environment where she can build confidence at her own pace. She’s still learning about the world—especially things like walking on a leash, which can be a little scary for her right now—so a fenced yard would be ideal for her to safely enjoy the outdoors she loves so much.   She’s making great progress with housetraining when kept on a consistent schedule and is eager to keep learning. CC enjoys the simple things in life: sitting peacefully and watching the world go by, feeling the breeze outside, and being near her people.   With patience, kindness, and love, CC will blossom into the most loyal and gentle companion. If you’re looking for a quiet, sweet soul to share your home and heart, Cookie Collette might just be your perfect match.   CC is spayed, up to date on vetting and on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.  Thank you!April 25, 2026, 10:29 pm
