Story
Bennett(Ben) is a cockapoo, he’s 10 as of June 2026. He went to the vet last month, 20lbs+/-, he’s in great health minus allergies of itching, some licking and ear infections that are the common yeast type. The only med he’s on which is elective(but helps with the allergies) is the cytopoint allergy shot he gets about every 6 weeks(not a huge expense). Was raised around babies and small kids, not aggressive at all. Not even food/toy aggressive, non dominant, happy, still very playful, completely house broken and crate trained. Can be housed with cats and dogs etc… Ben is good with travel and car rides, loves sleeping in bed or on a bed next to the bedside on the floor. Loves going on a walk. Is trained to not jump on furniture. Super super affectionate and loves going to the vet and groomer. No shed coat as well. Thank you!

Story
Looking for your next furry BFF?   We don’t have perfect dogs — but we do have dogs who are perfect for the right someone. Our goal is to match each dog with the home that fits them best and each home with the dog that will sing to your heart. Ready to adopt? Complete an application at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application   Foster location: Dreamweaver Farm, Pacolet, SC Weight: 22lbs Height: 19inches at shoulder Spayed/Neutered: Yes, Teddy is neutered. Adoption Fee: $499 Fence needed? Preferred Want To Know More About Me? Text Bucce (Teddy) to 864â€𣠡†for my full story and photos — we’ll send everything you need to know! If you want to skip straight to the application: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/ Here’s Your Quick Peek: Bucce (Teddy) is a medium‑energy, easygoing Cockapoo with a calm, independent personality and a curious streak. He may take a minute to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s friendly, affectionate, and steady. Bucce enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and loves toys, treats, and spending time with his people. He gets along well with men, women, and cats, though he can be selective with other dogs — both large and small. His play style is rough and energetic, so he’d do best with dogs that can match his enthusiasm or as an only dog in a calm home. Must have: A patient, loving home that understands his independent nature and provides gentle structure. Exercise: Moderate — daily walks and playtime. Best with: Adults or families who are home often and enjoy a calm, steady companion. Not ideal for: Homes with young children or dogs that dislike rough play. Energy level: Medium — balanced and easygoing. Bucce walks well on leash, is still working on crate and house training, and may need patience during grooming. He can be vocal and occasionally resource guard, so continued positive training will help him thrive. He’s currently on a prescription I/D diet but has no known allergies or medications. Good with dogs: Selective — prefers calm or confident companions. Good with kids: We would not recommend a home with children for Bucce Cats: Yes. Fun fact: Bucce loves his toys and treats — he’s happiest when he’s playing or relaxing beside his favorite people. Potential Adopters   Dogs can’t drive - and since we’re busy taking care of them, we can’t either! Please check your potential BFF’s location and make sure you’re comfortable traveling to meet them.
