Ideal Home -Louie Suds has his heart set on a work-from-home situation where he has the company of a submissive canine buddy or two. -Louie must have slow, controlled introductions to new people and animals. He warms up quickly once trust is established. -He takes daily over-the-counter medication for his allergies. -Louie is still learning to tolerate the vet and the groomer. He takes medication prior to those appointments. -Louie has a cataract in one eye, but that doesn't slow him down! -A cozy spot at the foot of the bed is Louie’s happy place at bedtime. -Cats are too exciting for Louie–that prey-drive is strong. -He enjoys a yard and dog-door access for sunbathing and playtime. Personality -Louie Suds is the perfect combination of play, party, and rest. He enjoys his morning romp followed by a chill day as WFH supervisor. -He loves affection but isn’t overly needy. He’s content to share space without being in your face. -Louie finds certain things scary and will respond defensively. Therefore, he responds better to older children and adults who respect his concerns and work with him. -He will thrive with gentle love, consistent routine, and patience as he settles into the loving pup he wants to be. Are You Perfect for Louie Suds? Louie Suds’s adoption fee is $550. He is HW-negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Louie Suds a second chance. We welcomed our now 7 month old sweet mini poodle into our family in June as a companion for our daughter. Unfortunately, we’ve realized that she isn’t quite ready for the responsibility of caring for a dog, and with our busy schedule, we aren’t able to give him all the time and attention he deserves.He is a sweet, playful and lovable little boy who deserves a home where he can get plenty of attention and be a true part of the family. We’re hoping to find him a loving, responsible home with someone who has the time and commitment to care for him long-term.This is not an easy decision for our family, so finding the right home for him is much more important to us than simply finding a new home. ❤️🐾

Sometimes life's changes affect our pets too, and through no fault of his own, Samson found himself in need of a new family.Despite the upheaval, Samson has remained the sweet, loving young dog he's always been. At just a year old, he has his whole life ahead of him and is ready to put the uncertainty behind him and focus on what matters most: finding a family to love.With his beautiful Cocker Spaniel looks and affectionate nature, Samson is the kind of dog who turns heads and wins hearts. Whether he's joining you for daily adventures, relaxing at home, or simply enjoying time with his people, Samson is happiest when he's part of the family.His adoption fee is $450.Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age-appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoptionAdopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.Samson didn't lose his family because of anything he did wrong.
