Story
Banks started life as a very high anxiety puppy. He is on medication to help with anxiety but it will likely always be an issue. He has had professional training. He does not like my husband and is not able to coexist with him. He is high energy. He would do best with a home that has a backyard and a person that works from home or is home more than not. No kids. He barks a lot so apartments or shared living spaces would likely not work with him. Other dogs are a maybe.

**NEW STRAY AS OF 04/04/26!** Is anyone missing a 2-3 year old unaltered male Cocker/Poodle mix that weighs around 30 Lbs.? He was found off of 1141 and John King on 04/04/26. No collar. No chip. He is currently on stray hold for the next 72 hours to allow his owners to claim him. If you recognize this pet, please call 972-771-7750 ext 2. Proof of ownership is required for reclaim! ALL PETS ON STRAY HOLD CAN NOT BE MET WITH OR ADOPTED WHILE ON STRAY HOLD.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Bryson's Story ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATIONONLY Bryson and his 3 siblings thankfully were surrendered to us by the owner instead of being given away. These adorable pups we were told had a toy poodle mom and dad. Brylee is super friendly, cuddly, and he can be very chill for a puppy..He will sit in his foster mom’s lap for snuggles.! His favorite hobby is playing with his siblings and other foster dogs. As of 2/13 Bryson was 4.6 lbs 🐶 Adopters must live in the DFW area 🐶 Adopters must have a fully fenced in yard (no apartment homes), 🐶 Current/ past pets must have/had a good vaccine record, spayed/neutered, and have/had proof of a consistent history of heartworm prevention. 🐶 smaller puppy homes require children at least 5 years of age We will be accepting multiple applications to ensure we find the best fit for each puppy. Homes where someone is home more often than not and/or have another dog will take priority. If you would like to met Bryson, the first step in the process is to complete an application.
