Lady & her friends were bought back to the WA state where she is now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Lady is so stunning to look at & she looks right at you with such love her foster mum said. She will stare at you as if she is staring into your soul. She saiid she is the life of the party but can also be a peacemaker if her foster siblings become a little naughty. She loves every dog & they love her. She said wherever you are lady wants to be & is so very spirited & lovely. Instantly when she went into her foster home it was as if she had always been there & part of the pack. She will talk to her foster mum she said when she wants her attention or wants something from her. She will also be happy to play with her foster siblings & loves to chase the other dogs. In her foster home she goes on material potty pads. For everything she has been through her foster mum said she is a sweetheart. Lady her foster mum said is so affectionate & jumps at you to pick her up & give her love & kisses & hugs. She adores being carried & given love. Her foster mum said she has a huge personality & will let it be known she is there & will let you know what she wants. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over head that’s not outside. Lady is a wonderful eater & is not shy about eating. She eats clean in her foster home, meaning she eats grains, fruits & vegetables & many healthy proteins along with supplements. She is good with her baths & being dried by the hairdryer & very tolerant. She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. She will bark at her foster family to pick her up & put her on the bed to sleep with them. She is such a fun puppy who just wants to be loved & to make up for her past. She loves everyone. She would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. She is a puppy & we have not taken her out anywhere. She does not discriminate against breeds. She has always been with other dogs & she adores other dogs & they make her feel comfortable & confident. Lady rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when she went to be sold & when we got her & going home with her foster family & to & from the vets. It’s still all new to her though. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Lady as you can imagine spent the first part of her life in a caged environment. She loses her mind if she is put into a crate & goes nuts wanting out. Who could blame her? She is losing her puppy fuz & getting her adult fur in. We are also looking for a forever home for Lady where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Lady is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Lady has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in her foster home & she is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. She absolutely must go to a forever home with a dog or dog’s present in the home roughly the same size for her to thrive in. We have spent far more on Lady with paying for her from a commercial breeder. Bringing her to WA with her travel/flight costs, her transportation to WA. All of her medical care in WA etc & bringing her to WA then her adoption fee comes close to covering. Her adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on Lady. Lady has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not her around small children so we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. Animal Profile: Maestro is an estimated 5-year-old 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was rescued from SBC shelter and arriving to Seattle area foster care on Sunday Feb 18th. At the shelter he was kenneled with other dogs, and assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more info on Maestro as we get to know him in foster care. Foster Updates: Yes I bought Maestro a little bowtie and did a little photoshoot. How could I not get him a bowtie with "Maestro" for a name? Maestro is sweetheart with a lot of personality and playfulness. He’s fully housetrained, good on leash, and a top-tier cuddler. He gets along very well with other dogs, including my two resident dogs, but loves his person more than anything. He’s mostly calm when hanging out with us, but he twirls around when he’s excited and likes to play tug-of-war. He loves playing with his toys and doesn’t destroy them. He’s fine in his crate if I am around, and is getting better at being crated alone. He sleeps through the night in his crate very nicely. He’s very smart and eager to please. I think in his past life he was not fed regularly as he is very skinny and a bit obsessed with food.
