Story
Mischief is a happy 5 year old cockapoo! He has a very sweet demeanor and gets along with other dogs and kids! We have decided to rehome Mischief as he struggles not to chew our toddlers toys and will take food out of his hands when he walks around. We are expecting another baby this spring and think it will just be too much for our family. Mischief is potty trained and loves to be pet and play fetch. He would be the perfect addition to a household with older kiddos with less toys to chew or for an elderly adult looking for a companion.

These pups are in Bothell, Washington too!

Story
Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 5 year old, 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding at the shelter but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.  Foster Update: Ramen is a cool little cup of noodles! He has been a quick study in foster care and is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. He loves to work and train and is very smart. He was recently introduced to odor detection work and his trainer said he was a natural. He catches on to new commands quickly and would love someone to work with. Ramen would do best in an adult only household. He sometimes takes time to warm up to strangers and he is more trusting of female companions. He has shown a tendency to resource guard when it comes to removing high value toys from his possession, but his trainer is working on tackling that behavior. Ramen is dog friendly, and would be best matched with a similar sized female dog his age. Ramen has had a lot of interest from families wanting a lap dog; he prefers to show affection through play and is not a couch potato. Ramen needs an experienced owner who comfortable addressing his guarding behaviors, willing to continue exercising his body and his mind, and able to commit to regular grooming. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. Ramen's adoption also includes take home training and support from Nirvana K9 Training. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.   Apply online at  www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Ramen was surrendered to Carson city shelter and transported to Dog Gone Seattle via Wiggle Butts arriving to foster care on 5/19/24; he is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. December 9, 2025, 2:28 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Solei was rescued as one of nine dogs found abandoned in a field in Perris, California. She’s ready to start a new chapter with a family who will give her the love and patience she deserves. Foster Update: Have you ever met a tiny poodle with the presence of a wolfhound? Let us introduce you to Solei, a teacup pup who is full of barkour energy and big dog confidence. Solei is incredibly smart and learns quickly. She already knows sit, down, wait, tap touch, up and off. When she first arrived from California she was quite reactive, but she has made wonderful progress on her walks and continues to improve. She is also learning to ring the bell when she needs to use the bathroom! Do not let her curly coat fool you. She is no frufru dog. The PNW weather does not bother her at all and she is always ready for an adventure. Whether she is showing off her barkour talents or exploring with curiosity, she brings bright and joyful energy everywhere she goes. At home, Solei’s sweet nature shines. She is an affectionate snuggler, loves to relax in your lap, brings toys for you to play with, and enjoys her car rides. She is spirited, clever, loving and truly wicked smart. Solei would do best in a home without young children and with someone who is committed to continuing her training. In return she will offer companionship, charm and endless love in a tiny package with a very big presence.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued by Angels of Rawley Foundation in CA. She arrives in Seattle on 11/02/2025 via Wigglebutts transport and will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.  December 4, 2025, 7:31 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Cutie Pie is a 2-year-old, 20-pound Mini Poodle Shepherd mix ready to begin a new chapter in life. She spent her early years in a hoarded home, surrounded by clutter and the constant chaos that too many dogs (and cats) cause. Thanks to our partners at Washington Health Outreach, Cutie Pie was able to leave that environment behind and step into a safe, healthy life. She’s gentle, affectionate, and has a quiet resilience that shows in every wag of her tail. Cutie Pie is shy at first, but opens up and is willing to trust easily. With the right family, Cutie Pie will thrive, offering her loyalty, love, and companionship to those who open their hearts to her. She’s ready to leave the past behind and embrace a home filled with warmth, happiness and a family all her own. Foster Update: Cutie Pie is settling in well to her new foster home. She's cautious of new people and can be skittish with loud noises, but is learning that the world isn't so scary. She's a quick learner who has already mastered wait, come, sit, and no. Cutie goes to the door to ask to be let out, and will thrive with a family willing to keep helping her grow her confidence.    Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from our local rescue partner Seattle Veterinary Outreach and arriving to our area foster care on 11/02/2025. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.  December 14, 2025, 7:22 pm
