Story
Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 6 year old, 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding at the shelter but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.  Foster Update: Ramen may be small in stature, but he's packed full of personality, brains, and just the right amount of spice. This cool cup of noodles is an active, intelligent dog who thrives when he has a job to do and someone to learn alongside. Since entering foster care, Ramen has been an impressive student. He's crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on leash. More than anything, he loves to learn. His foster family and trainer have discovered that Ramen is incredibly smart and eager to work, picking up new skills and commands with remarkable speed. He was recently introduced to odor detection work, and his trainer described him as a natural. Give Ramen a challenge, and he'll happily rise to meet it. Ramen is fully e-collar trained through Nirvana K9 Training, giving him a strong foundation in structure, communication, and reliable off-leash responsiveness with the right handler. Ramen isn't looking for a life spent lounging on the couch. While he enjoys spending time with his people, he tends to show affection through play, training, and shared activities rather than being a traditional lap dog. He's happiest when his mind is engaged and his day includes opportunities to learn, explore, and work alongside his person. Like many thoughtful dogs, Ramen can take a little time to warm up to new people. He tends to be more trusting of women initially, but with patience and positive interactions, he can build strong relationships with those he comes to know. Because of his preferences and comfort level, he would do best in an adult-only home. Ramen is dog friendly and would likely enjoy a canine companion who matches his energy and play style. He would be especially well-suited to a similarly sized female dog around his age. Ramen has also shown some resource-guarding tendencies with high-value toys. His trainer is actively working with him on these behaviors, and he is making progress. Because of this, he is looking for an experienced owner who understands canine behavior, is comfortable continuing his training, and can provide clear, consistent guidance. The ideal home for Ramen is one that appreciates a dog who is both intelligent and engaging—a home that will continue exercising not just his body, but also his remarkable mind. In return, Ramen will offer endless entertainment, unwavering loyalty, and the special satisfaction that comes from partnering with a dog who genuinely loves to learn. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. Ramen's adoption also includes take home training and support from Nirvana K9 Training. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.   Apply online at  www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Ramen was surrendered to Carson city shelter and transported to Dog Gone Seattle via Wiggle Butts arriving to foster care on 5/19/24; he is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. July 4, 2026, 11:07 am

Story
Animal Profile: Smidget (who we call Sage), Audrey,  and Tiny small but “leggy” German Shepherd/Poodle sisters who are ready for a new beginning! Born into a hoarding situation, they’ve already overcome a tough start, and thanks to our partners at Washington Health Outreach, they were able to find their way into rescue.  Now safe and healthy, Smidget, Audrey and Tiny are discovering the world for the first time ... grass under their paws, toys to chase, and gentle hands to trust. They’re still learning that life can be full of kindness and fun, but each day brings a little more confidence and a few more tail wags.   These girls are blossoming into the wonderful dogs they were always meant to be, and we can’t wait to see them continue their journey with families who will help them shine. Foster Update: More like a wild fairytale creature than a typical dog, petite Sage (now 11 months old) could pass for a coyote/fox hybrid and acts like a woodland sprite who accidentally found herself in the human world and is still trying to figure out the rules. In her current foster home, Sage has made great strides toward learning to be a dog. Initially scared of her own shadow, she’s integrated well into a large pack of dogs and loves running, playing, and wresting with dogs of all sizes and ages. She also likes cats and horses. Curious but still unsure of new people, it took a couple of weeks for Sage to start tentatively asking her foster mom for petting and affection. Sage now enjoys following her people around the house, comes when called, and is a sweet, soft, gentle presence who is just starting to show her silly, whimsical side. We have taught her to approach new people and “touch” with her nose as an introduction. She is fully potty trained and crate trained, enjoys daily routines, and is an ideal home office companion for her foster mom. Sage is looking for a home with at least one other friendly, playful dog who can act as a role model and friend, and a securely fenced yard so she can safely run, play, and explore her world. This pretty, leggy little lady will do best in a patient home that finds satisfaction in helping a dog who got a rough start in life learn to trust and evolve into a more confident, loving pet. Sage is a special project who will be 100% worth the time and effort for the right home. Sage is looking for a calm home that can offer her structure and a routine with a family that has dog experience, and that can give the time she needs to be comfortable. She will need a patient and confident adopter who can show her the world is not so scary and provide the security she needs as she gains confidence. At this time, we are only considering homes for Sage with a confident friendly canine companion and a securely fenced yard. We are not considering apartments or homes with young children. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from our local rescue partner and arriving to our area foster care on 10/07/2025. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.  July 4, 2026, 11:07 am

FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Oso & Daisy! Oso and Daisy are an adorable bonded pair of 2-year-old Poodles looking for a forever home where they can stay together. Oso weighs 15 pounds, Daisy weighs 13 pounds, and together they make the sweetest little duo you could ever hope to meet! These two are full of happy, spunky energy and absolutely love being together. Whether they’re exploring on a walk, playing together, or cuddling up after a fun day, Oso and Daisy bring out the best in one another. Because of their close bond, they are looking for a home where they can continue their journey side by side. Oso and Daisy have done well with other dogs and enjoy making new canine friends. They are active, playful, and would love a family that enjoys getting out for daily walks, adventures, and plenty of quality time together. They’re looking for an outgoing home that will keep them active, well-socialized, and included in all of life’s fun moments. As Poodles, they’ll also need adopters who are committed to maintaining their coats with regular grooming to keep them healthy, comfortable, and looking their best. Oso and Daisy are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Their combined adoption fee is $1000.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Jeffrey! Jeffrey showed up as a stray, wandering around on his own and looking a little lost. No one came forward to claim him, so now he's ready to find a family that will never let him wonder where he belongs again. We believe Jeffrey is a Poodle mix, and he'll need regular grooming and brushing to keep his coat from becoming matted. With proper coat care, he'll stay looking handsome and feeling comfortable. Jeffrey is an active, playful boy who enjoys having fun and being around people. He can get a little carried away when he's excited and may give playful "love bites," so he would do best in a home with older, considerate children who understand how to interact appropriately with dogs. He does great with every dog he meets and seems to enjoy canine company. We are unsure how he would do with cats. Jeffrey is neutered, 4DX negative, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. His adoption fee is $500. To apply to adopt Jeffrey, visit www.adoggie4you.org. Jeffrey is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Please note that we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 3, 2026, 4:59 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Myles — a happy, lovable Maltipoo who’s ready to find his forever family! Born around March 12, 2025, Myles weighs 17.6 pounds and is full of personality. He came to us as part of a 29-dog seizure where, although the dogs were cared for, they didn’t get the individual attention and socialization they needed. Despite that, Myles has proven to be incredibly friendly and people-loving. He thrives on attention and is always excited to be around his humans. Myles would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he truly enjoys companionship and being part of daily life. Myles has also been seen by an ophthalmologist and has cataracts in one eye. He is currently on special eye drops, and we are hopeful for improvement with continued treatment. He also has a playful side—he absolutely loves toys and is always up for some fun. Whether it’s a game of toss or just carrying his favorite toy around, he knows how to enjoy life. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash and will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence and skills. With his sweet nature and eagerness to connect, Myles is sure to make a wonderful companion. Myles’ adoption fee is $400. If you’re ready to welcome this charming boy into your home, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org . This dog is currently in Texas; however, he can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. Opal – Professional Cuddler Seeking a Forever Lap ❤️ Meet Opal, an approximately 5-year-old Poodle mix whose favorite hobbies include snuggling, napping, and being as close to her people as possible. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet companion rather than a high-energy adventure buddy, Opal may be your perfect match! Opal is a gentle soul who enjoys the simple things in life: soft dog beds, cozy blankets, chew bones, and quality cuddle time. She gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to many households. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. One of Opal's most endearing features is her adorable crooked little smile. It only adds to her charm and perfectly matches her sweet, loving personality. She is already scheduled for a dental procedure on June 23rd to help keep her smile healthy and comfortable. Opal does best with a consistent routine and is happy to take care of her business outside when given regular potty breaks. She would love a home where she can enjoy plenty of affection, cozy naps, and quality time with her family. Opal is: ✔ Approximately 5 years old ✔ Spayed ✔ Microchipped ✔ Up to date on vaccines and preventatives ✔ Dog friendly ✔ Cat friendly ✔ Crate trained ✔ Scheduled for a dental procedure on June 23rd If you're searching for a loyal, loving companion who will happily keep your lap warm and your heart full, Opal is ready to meet you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Dawson!  I was picked up with my family by a few good people who found us on the highway. They brought us to rescue, where I have been looking for my forever home.  I’m a friendly, happy boy who loves everyone I meet — dogs included! I get so excited to see my people that sometimes I bounce up to say hello, but it’s only because I’m so excited to be loved. I’ve got a sweet personality, a goofy side, and I’m always ready to make new friends. Even though I get excited, I have a sweet nature and just want to be close to my people. Going into a new home, I will need some minor training on showing me how to be potty trained. I like toys, playing with the other dogs in my run, and meeting new people.  Due to my breed, I will need regular brushing and grooming. My adoption fee is $400. I am neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, 4dx negative and current on proheart 12 and bravecto. I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Unfortunately, I can’t travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts because of state regulations.
