Story
Jump Rope is spayed, fully healthy and microchipped! Jump Rope is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! 💧: Working on Housebreaking: Making progress, but prefers to have potty pads in her home and access to a backyard. 🏠 : Crate Trained: Comfortable spending time in a crate and settles easily. The crate is her safe space. 🚶: Will benefit from continued training. She prefers the backyard in her foster home and has only gone on a couple very brief walks. 🐶: Dog Friendly: Gets along with other dogs and requires a dog pal in her future home as having a buddy helps tremendously with her confidence! 😺: Cat Friendly: Lives with a cat in her foster home and does wonderfully! 🧒: Kid-friendly: She currently lives with two dog-savvy, respectful kids and has done well with them. Jump Rope is a shy but sweet girl who has so much love to give to those in her inner circle! She came to us from a hoarding situation in Texas and has truly come so far from her beginnings. Once you are her bestie, she will gift you with the cutest, bouncy greeting dances that are so rewarding - she squeals and flaps her ears and tippy tippy taps. Then she retreats back into her safe space and thumps her tail to signal she wants some neck scratches. She would love a home with a dog pal and with a patient and understanding adopter who will give her time and space to open up and thrive! 🧬: This pet’s DNA was tested by Embark for fun and you can see her results in her photos! 💰: Jump Rope’s adoption fee is $300. 🩷: Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/. Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org.

Story
Delilah, Daisy, and Mars came to us from local animal control after being removed from a hoarding situation. We were told they are Cocker Spaniel/French Bulldog mixes. They’re adorably goofy and are slowly learning to trust and about all the good things in life! They are all right at 22lbs and around 1-2yrs old. They are working on building confidence, getting comfortable with leashes, and all the noises of everyday life. They will need patient homes that can help them decompress, learn, and blossom! Potential adopters should understand that the potential breeds they are mixed with are both prone to ear infections. Please make sure to research the breeds! Because of their past, they would do best in a home without children. Daisy is a silly girl with an adorable underbite. She is excited about so much but is still unsure of how exactly to greet people. She's made lots of progress, and is happy to hang out near people and jump up on them for attention. She is a bit nervous about hands around her head, but is already getting much more comfortable with pets! She can be mouthy when excited but doesn't mean harm. She has made great progress on leash walking! Daisy recently befriended one of our beagles, and they had a blast running the fence, playing with toys, and giving some kisses through the fence.

She is making good progress on getting comfortable on leash and is even starting to get excited and play outside!

He will launch himself at you, hoping you will catch him, then launch himself off you just to launch back onto you again. He warms up the quickest and will happily investigate new friends. He LOVES toys, especially balls, and will pounce on them to roll them around. He is doing well on learning the leash, but still has some more progress to make.

Story
Panther is being fostered in PA.My name is Panther and I want a home where I will have someone to cuddle me all the time! I will follow you around and show you just how much love I have to give. I live with a bunch of other dogs in my foster home and I like them all but if I have to be the only dog that you love, well, I'm fine with that too!My favorite thing in the world is Churro treats. My foster mom likes to hide medicine in them and she thinks I don't know it, but I don't care because Churro bites make everything yummy! I'm not a picky eater but when my foster mom puts some homemade food on top of my kibble, oh boy is that the good stuff! I gobble that down so fast!I like going out for a little while but I would rather be inside laying on the couch or a bed, even the floor. Sometimes it gets just too hot out there and I don't like that. I will walk for you on a leash but I would rather just run along with my foster mom through my fenced in yard. It's so much fun following her around.I've had a bit of a rough time, they just stole my left eye, I don't know what they plan to do with it, it's broken, but whatever. I don't even miss it a little bit. They also did some big surgery to my left ear. My foster mom calls it a TECA and the surgeon explained to me that it was a Total Ear Canal Ablation. I don't know what that means but I know they took all the yucky things out of my ear and now it feels so much better. They tell me I'm going to have the same thing done in my right ear. I can't wait, my right ear hurts so badly too! My foster mom said that they are waiting until they raise the money to do it. I don't know what money is, but I hope they raise it soon so I can feel all better!Right now I am not looking my prettiest, but I am healing every day and my fur will grow back good as new!My foster mom says the family that gets to live with me forever will be a very lucky family. I'm the best girl ever!BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
