Once adopted, our pets can be transported to Denver, Colorado, the Midwest and all of the north eastern states. 4. We have a Facebook page and an Instagram page. You are welcome to visit to see some of our newly adoptive families. 5. We have been rescuing and transporting pets for 15 years. 6. Our pets do not travel until they have been adopted. We do not have holding facilities in other parts of the United States for meet and greet purposes.

Whitley is currently in a foster home. If you would like to meet him, please start by visiting www.sccrescue.org and completing an application.Whitley is giving main-character energy in the absolute best way. This little guy is basically a forever puppy—cute beyond reason and fully committed to the soft life. His vibe? Professional snuggler, lap magnet, and emotional support bestie all rolled into one. If you sit down, he’s already there. If you exist, he loves you. Simple as that.Despite a rough start (we’re talking glow-up of the century), Whitley is thriving and proving he’s that resilient king. He’s house trained, crate trained, and honestly just wants to be near his person at all times—your shadow, but make it adorable. Outside, he’s equal parts curious explorer and clingy sidekick, and on walks he keeps it chill, minding his business like a polite little gentleman.He’s got a playful, slightly goofy side too—expect the occasional sock heist or tiny nibble during cuddle time when he’s feeling extra cozy. He’s still working on commands, but he’s patient, sweet, and very food-motivated (as he should be). Bottom line: Whitley is that once-in-a-lifetime dog—the kind you’d keep forever if you could.We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog. Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don’t know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess. Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area. Devlin is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (CKCS) puppy born into our rescue on 2/27/26. She is 4.2 lbs. and had an excellent vet check up with healthy eyes, ears, nose, mouth, stomach, heart and lungs. Devlin is well socialized with people and children. She is curious, affectionate, loves a good cuddle and after a good play session is ready to settle down in your lap for a good nap.CKCS thrive on human companionship and as puppies will need a family that has the time to spend exercising, grooming, and socializing them. They love to please so would do well in puppy obedience training classes. Those classes are great bonding experiences too.During Devlin's recent vet visit, it was discovered she has a lateral luxating patella on her right leg that will require surgery around 1 year of age. The rescue will cover the cost of this surgery at a partner facility of our choosing. If the adopter would prefer doing this at their personal vet at their expense at 1 year of age, this is acceptable and adopters can show proof of the procedure being performed.Devlin's adoption fee is $800, and she is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. The spay/neuter procedure will be covered by the rescue at 6 months of age when completed through one of our approved veterinary clinics.
