Story
Meet Truman Hi. I’m Truman. A 4-year-old Cocker Spaniel with gorgeous hair, excellent couch manners, and absolutely no interest in sharing my spotlight with anyone furry, feathered, or tiny and sticky-handed. At 31 pounds, I’m basically the perfect-sized best friend. I’m fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm treated, and officially ready to retire from my “found as a stray” era and move into my “pampered only child” era. What do I love? ✔️ Cuddling in bed ✔️ Binge-watching TV ✔️ Following my human around like a loyal little shadow ✔️ Being told I’m handsome (frequently) What do I not love? ❌ Other dogs ❌ Cats ❌ Sharing attention in general Truthfully, I’m not looking to be “just a dog.” I’m looking to be someone’s ride-or-die companion. The kind that keeps your side of the couch warm and your heart full. If you’re searching for one loyal little sidekick through CH Boxer Rescue, Truman is ready to make himself at home.  Apply to foster or adopt: www.chboxerrescue.com/adopt May 29, 2026, 12:21 pm

Story
Meet Posey and Cash Two Cocker Spaniels, Double the Love ✨ Posey and Cash are two AKC-registered Cocker Spaniels who are as sweet as they are charming—and they’re ready to steal hearts. Posey is a three-year-old brown and white beauty weighing just 17 pounds. Petite, playful, and full of affection, she’s the perfect mix of fun and cuddle-time. Posey is fully house trained and kennel trained, and she’s been obsessed with fetch since she was six months old—it’s her absolute favorite thing in the world. She can be a little vocal when first meeting new people, making sure to announce her presence, but once she gets a good sniff, her walls come down fast. After that, she’s all love—belly rubs, cuddles, and sticking close to her people. Posey is wonderful with children, gentle with other animals, spayed, well-socialized, and has no aggressive tendencies whatsoever. Cash, a two-year-old sable Cocker Spaniel weighing 24 pounds, is a true gentleman with a playful streak. He’s incredibly smart, fully house trained and kennel trained, and thrives on routine. His favorite moment of the day? First thing in the morning—when he bursts outside with pure joy and zoomies like life couldn’t be better. Cash loves to play fetch and is athletic, happy, and eager to engage. Like Posey, he may greet strangers with a little yap at first, but once he’s had a moment to check things out, he turns into a total lovebug. He adores attention, cuddling, and being close to his humans. Cash is neutered, fantastic with kids, gentle with other animals, and has a beautifully balanced temperament. Together, Posey and Cash are playful, affectionate, a little chatty, and completely irresistible. They would thrive in  loving home, without other dogs, where they can get attention, playtime, and the companionship they crave. Story
Meet Chocko — a 3-year-old, 20-pound Shih Tzu/Cocker Spaniel mix with a huge personality, a happy spirit, and a nose that believes every walk should be a full-blown “Sniff-fari.” This handsome little guy is the perfect combination of fun, affection, curiosity, and companionship all wrapped up in one adorable package. Chocko is the kind of dog who wakes up every day excited to see what adventure might happen next. Whether it’s a long neighborhood walk, a car ride to run errands, a weekend road trip, or simply exploring the backyard like it’s brand new, he is ALL IN. He absolutely loves his walks and can happily stroll for blocks without slowing down, making him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys being active and having a loyal little sidekick along for the ride. And when the adventures are over? Chocko transforms into the sweetest companion who just wants to be near his people. He has wonderful house manners, travels beautifully in the car, and would gladly accept the role of full-time co-pilot in someone’s life. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who is always ready to go wherever you go, Chocko is your guy. He does very well with crate training and potty training and is eager to continue learning new commands and routines. Chocko is a smart boy who truly enjoys interaction and engagement. He also loves other dogs and wants very much to play and socialize with them. Due to some hardships in his previous life, he does have mild food guarding tendencies, but it is easily managed by feeding him separately from other pets. Outside of mealtime, he is loving, social, and full of joy. What makes Chocko especially lovable is his personality. He has that perfect mix of silly and sweet — one minute proudly investigating every smell on earth with total determination, and the next minute gazing up at you with those soulful eyes like you are his entire world. He brings energy and laughter into a home without being overwhelming, and his affectionate nature makes it impossible not to fall for him. Chocko is ready for a fresh start with someone who will appreciate his playful spirit, continue building his confidence, and include him as part of everyday life. He has so much love to give and is simply waiting for the person who will say, “Yep… you’re coming home with me.” ❤️ If you are interested in adopting Chocko, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 29, 2026, 9:46 am

Story
🚨🚨🚨🚨LOCAL PUP IN NEED🚨🚨🚨🚨 👉👉👉👉👉COURTESY POST👈👈👈👈👈 Sammy is looking for a new family! This local boy has lived in the same home for 3 years but his humans just feel he’d be better suited for a solo pup household. Sammy gets nervous and intimidated by his fellow canines, and in response reacts with growls and nips. Some kitty friends are more to this pup’s liking, but no crazy kittens please. High energy, chaos and instability are just not for Sammy. He is looking for a home that can provide him with structure, a low key household that can give him time to decompress. Sammy himself is a low energy guy that loves a good nap and day of lounging after his walks. He is house and crate trained, in addition to having basic manners and obedience inside the home. Like most hounds this boy is highly food motivated, which leads to the occasional stolen snack or garbage raid. We do know that Sammy is a Beagle/Cocker Spaniel mix weighing about 25lbs. If you think you can help this fella out email nelly1807@aol.com today. Location: Monticello, NY
