✨ Meet Cooper! ✨ PLEASE SHARE SO WE CAN CONTINUE TO HELP MORE. This handsome 8-year-old senior is the total package. At around 32 lbs, cocker spaniel, Cooper is the perfect size and an absolute dream companion. Cooper rides in the car like a champ, is housebroken, incredibly sweet, and gets along wonderfully with all dogs. He truly loves his person and would thrive in a home where he can soak up affection. After a relaxing spa day, he spent time at Camp Belly Rub and did great! 💆‍♂️🐾 A few honest notes: Cooper may try to sneak into the garbage if given the chance and isn’t a fan of being crated. That said, he is not destructive at all and does well with freedom in the home. 📍 Meet & Greet Location: Applicants must be willing to travel to the Kingston, NY area to meet Cooper. 💖 Important Notes: • Please DO NOT apply if you do not use heartworm preventative — veterinary history is carefully verified. • No DMs to personal accounts unless you are a friend or past adopter. Please message the NBLCF page directly with any questions. 📄 Application & More Info: 👉 www.Loveforcanines.com If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing senior who still has plenty of heart (and charm!), Cooper may be your perfect match. 🐶💙

Pulled at the last minute from San Pedro shelter and so glad we did. He is a sweet old man with a mellow personality and just toodle doodles around. Love this old guy.. Quiet and grumpy face and sweet. He was adopted and his owner just died. Please let him find that soft spot again. He would love to be a companion dog and an only dog.

.DOB 12-28-2024 Fuzzy, happy and sweet. This gorgeous little girl is ready for her home and family. Up to date on shots and all medical. Colette is social, loves to play and gets along with everyone. Colette will be around 25 pounds as an adult, she is spayed, heartworm negative and is on ProHeart6 heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is 750.00, transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Meet Watson, a handsome young adult neutered male Cocker Spaniel mix (we suspect he may have some poodle in him as well), weighing about 30 lbs! Watson and his brother Sherlock were sadly dumped in east TN. They were taken in by a Good Samitaran who wanted to help but was unable to keep them. We then took them into rescue and placed them in a loving foster home. They have been fully vetted and are ready to head up to New England to find their furever homes! (They are not a bonded pair and are not required to be adopted together). Watson is a sweet, friendly boy who is good with other dogs, people, and kids. He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. He is medically up to date, mostly housebroken (expect accidents first few days while adjusting to a new home/routine), and crate trained. Apply to meet this dapper gentleman today! **Watson will be arriving in New England on 1/10 and will be available at our Dayville, CT adoption event on 1/11 (pre-approved adopters only - please submit an application now if you are interested in meeting and potentially adopting Watson at the event!)** Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2621789##
