Champ: formally known as Camp on his chip, I thought that was a weird name so I changed it- I mean CAMP is a VERB not a NOUN :) Champ is more laid back than his brother Max, but will get excited when his brother and the other dogs run outside and he has to see what everyone is talking about. Then, after all the dogs have already come in, he stays out to survey the land and only comes in when all is cool... He is the security guard, and he is pretty cheap! Both Champ and Max will chase cats and bark at them and make them frightened, so no kitties or prey animals for them. Champ is very well crate trained, he loves his special crate treats too! Loves to go for rides but act very excited and wants to be all over in the front seat- so harness and safety is first ;). Plays well with other dogs Loves people Not sure about kids, but they are so easy going I am sure they will acclimate. Walks well on a leash with some excitement. Champ will be the champ of anyone's home and lap. He is sweet and smart and will keep your yard clear of scary things!! And all for some treats and love, can beat that!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Max- if you check out my hairdo you will understand ALL about me in about 5 seconds :) I am a REBEL without a cause :) Well, maybe I have a cause, but I can't REMEMBER the cause :) Here is what my foster mom has to say about me, "Max is the one that steals socks, shoes, unstuffs stuff, chews up things he shouldn't. He is the one I say "what's in your mouth" to. But, Max is a very sweet and lovable kinda rebel when you tell him "No" cuz he will continue, but will get on your lap for loving and forgiveness too." He still marks in the house but does know to use the dog door to go out. He was doing good until I brought an unaltered female in the house. Now that they are neutered it is improving greatly. Plays well with other dogs Loves people Not sure about kids, but they are so easy going I am sure they will acclimate. Walks well on a leash with some excitement. And is looking for a forever family who will love and appreciate his rebel ways :) Can't get much cuter than the MOHAWK!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Dallas is a 5-6-year-old. 30lb purebred cream-colored Cocker Spaniel. As a rescue we have no papers, but he is a gorgeous boy who looks purebred and is ready to find his loving forever home! We do not know his exact age, that is our best guess based on his energy level. He has a very cute underbite and is a very quiet dog. He loves humans. He has liked all dogs that he has met that are nice to him. He has had several play dates with two male dogs (his size or so) and those went great, so he may do ok with another dog with a calm and friendly temperament. We have discovered is if the dog is friendly and plays well with him it will work and he likes to play. If the dog acts aggressive, then he does not like that dog (understandably). He should be in a home without children, as he is a stronger willed dog and he can sometimes redirect on his handler, so he needs an adult only home. He has a few quirks which will be discussed with anyone prior to adoption. He knows the command “sit”. He is not a fussy eater so happily eats his food and any treats you offer him. He doesn't necessarily finish all his kibble right away, so we have allowed him to graze. He still has plenty of spunk! He is so great and easy in his crate, quiet and doesn't rip things up and doesn’t bark because he is in his crate. Of course, he'd happily be on your lap or be taking a walk with you. We are working on his leash training as he does pull some. He is potty trained and goes outside and potties pretty quickly. If it’s raining, he wants to come right back inside. He definitely enjoys being an inside dog. He doesn’t want to hang out outside even if the weather is good, he enjoys being inside on his dog bed and he has some doggie chew toys and a ball that he does enjoy from time to time. We think he takes time as MOST dogs do to settle in. Every person he has met, he is excited and friendly with from the start. Dallas is UTD on shots, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $250.

Story
Hi there, I'm a one-year-old bundle of joy and love, ready to find my forever home! They call me Sarah, the charming Cocker mix with a heart full of tail wags and puppy dreams. At just one year old, I'm the perfect blend of playfulness and sweetness. I'm always up for an adventure. My eyes are filled with curiosity, and my heart is bursting with affection. Life has so much to offer, and I'm eager to share it with a loving family. If you're ready for a loyal companion who's just at the beginning of life's exciting journey, then I'm your pup! Let's make memories, share laughter, and create a bond that lasts a lifetime. Ready to open your heart to me? * Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.

Story
**Fostered in Seattle, WA and ready for meet & greets!** This cutie is Boris. He is currently ~25 lbs, 4 months old, and we think he may be a Cocker Spaniel/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that he is adorable and one of the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his life as well as the life of another in its place. Boris is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his sibling and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Boris is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65945b1657af53df8505cb04 Please email sarahgarcia@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
