Story
Meet Moses! He is a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix. He will need an experienced adopter as he can bite and redirect on you without warning. He needs to be in an adult only home, preferably with a woman. He is protective of his person and is not fond of most people. He does not like to have more than one person to share his affection with. He will need a quiet home without too much stimulation or people coming and going. He is a happy boy who needs strict consistency. He loves female dogs and would love to be in a home with one to play with. He needs a home with a yard, no apartment living for him. He walks well on a leash, is potty trained, crate trained and knows basic commands. Moses is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

These pups are in Seattle, Washington too!

Story
Everyone deserves a second chance… and that’s exactly how Chance got his name.  Chance is approximately 9-year-old Brittany who was found abandoned in a ditch during the Kentucky snowstorm. He was in rough shape and very sick! He only weighed 22 pounds and malnourished.   Since he has been who has taken the best care of this little man, Chance has gained his weight back, is healthy and she has taught him what it means to live inside with a comfy bed, food and a ton of love!! Once he was stabilized and on the road to recovery, he has been neutered, had an extensive dental with 22 teeth removed due to lack of nutrition and neglect. He only has his 4 canines but that does not stop him from eating and taking treats. He now weighs a healthy 30 pounds. He has had X rays from head to toe and an echocardiogram. He has a slight vision impairment. He is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Chance is a gentle, sweet soul who loves being close to his people. Once he feels safe, he enjoys curling up beside you soaking up affection. He is adjusting to living inside and gains confidence every day. He is crate trained and doing very well with house training. He is only having a few accidents but continues to improve each day. He has learned the doggy door. Chance does well with cats and gets along nicely with other dogs. Chance would do best in a calm home with no young children, where he can feel safe and relaxed. Due to unknown old leg injuries that have healed he needs to be in a home that has very few steps to make it easier for him to move around. He needs a fenced yard so that he can stroll and sniff and do his business. He is not a candidate for an invisible fence. A quiet, laid-back low activity home would be ideal for him. He has learned to play with toys; he will go over to the toy basket and pick one out and quietly walk away with it not drawing attention to himself. One thing we’ve noticed about Chance is that he’s a very quiet boy, he rarely barks. Instead, he has the cutest little way of giving a gentle growl when he wants your attention, which just adds to his unique personality. Sadly, not knowing his background other than his body tells the story he has lived a very hard life. It is the little things watching him enjoy as he continues learning how to just be a dog… with love to give!! He is such a sweet boy!! After everything he’s been through, Chance is ready for the best chapter of his life — a patient family who will give him the love and security he’s always deserved. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a heart of gold, Chance might just be your perfect match. Chance is located in Kentucky. His adoption fee is 350.00 and NBRAN will transport up to 1400 miles. if you have any interest in adopting Chance please email the state coordinators:  Neca neca227@gmail.com , Karlie karliebreana@gmail.com or Amy amypgay@gmail.com if you have any questions. Story
Étouffée is a 4 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She is a lover. She just wants to love and be loved. Sweet is the best description. She is a little timid and figuring things out but she seems more confident everyday. She hasn’t taken much interest in her toys, but enjoys a good chew stick. She is learning to walk on a leash and potty outside. She is food motivated, so you can use that for training. She is learning not to chase the cat. She likes to sleep in her dog bed next to a human bed. She has only gone #2 indoors but seems to be learning to do #1 outside just not super consistently. She may need time to warm up to more cuddling and affection that she has had in the past, but given a little time, she is warming up to it. She is food motivated. She doesn’t have a lot of experience with other dogs or kids, but she does well with cats. Just look at those eyes, how could you resist this sweet one?!? -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Remoulade is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is a loving, rambunctious spitfire of a puppy! He loves to chase and chew and has all the puppy energy you could want! When he's being held he is calm and cuddly, but when you set him down his zoomies know no bounds! He is an expert at puppy pads and is learning his name and recall and how to sit, but still is not a fan of the great outdoors. Remoulade is most comfortable in his own bed. He will take several naps a day as he is still growing and is getting better at long, overnight sleeping. It is still best to have a puppy pad near by in case he wakes up in the middle of the night. He’s a potty pad expert! He’s not a fan of the outdoors, but if you show him his pad and where he is supposed to go, he rarely misses. Remoulade is a ball of energy and is always looking for a human to climb! This is very sweet, but means he may not be suited for young children right now while he is both climbing and teething. He is good with other dogs and cats. Remoulade is attention motivated, food motivated, and a people's pup! He is very active and actively teething, so puppy proofing (especially cords) is very important so he can be your perfect cuddle bug! -----
