Story
3-year-old Cocker Spaniel | Princess Energy Included 👑 Phoebe is a beautiful 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel who came to us through no fault of her own. She was deeply loved and cherished, and now she’s ready for her next chapter with a family who will spoil her just the way she deserves. This sweet girl has it all — she’s been raised with young children, does wonderfully with other dogs, and is even cat-friendly. Phoebe truly just loves love. If there’s a lap available, she’ll find it. If there’s a couch to share, she’s already curled up on it. Cuddling is her specialty. Phoebe is crate-trained and her potty manners are on their way to perfection. She’s the kind of dog who will happily join you on PNW adventures — beach days, forest walks, weekend getaways — and then snuggle up beside you at the end of it all. Phoebe does have a history of being a bit of an escape artist, so a secure, fully fenced yard will be required in her forever home to keep this princess safe. Phoebe is spayes, will be microchipped, brought up to date on vaccinations, and receive a full veterinary exam as part of her adoption donation. If you’re looking for a loving, family-ready companion who brings both adventure and affection, Phoebe is ready to meet you and start her happily ever after. 💕

Meet Daysi,Daysi is a peaceful and calm dog who loves quiet moments and enjoys simple activities like going for walks and visiting the beach. She's a laid-back dog who thrives in a tranquil environment, so she'd do best in a home where she's the only pet and there are no young children. Daysi enjoys her outings but is also very lazy at home and loves to relax.Although she was found wandering the streets, Daysi is now looking for a loving home where she can enjoy peace and quiet. She's not a fan of cats, and she's not interested in being in a busy, noisy environment. She's a sweet companion who just wants a peaceful, gentle life. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
My name is Luca. I’m a 2-year-old boy, just 6kg, and a Cocker Spaniel mix with a very gentle heart. I may be so quiet and small that you don’t notice me at first. I’ve learned how to make myself small. I had to. I was rescued from an animal hoarding site where more than 80 dogs lived in a space with barely room to move. To survive there, I curled my body in tight and stayed very still. I didn’t bark. I didn’t fight back. Even when other dogs were rough with me, I endured it silently. That was the only way I knew how to stay safe. Now, for the first time in my life, I’m learning what it means to be in a person’s arms. At first, I’m a little cautious when someone reaches out to me. People are still new to me. But little by little, I’m learning that hands can be warm, gentle, and comforting. As time passes, you’ll see something very special about me. I start to come closer on my own. I sit quietly beside you. I lean into you. That is how I show my heart. That is how I ask for love. I am extremely gentle, very small, and very, very sweet. I sometimes use pee pads, but because home life is completely new to me, I will need patient guidance as I learn. Everything in a home is a new experience for me, and I’m still figuring out the world. Because I lived surrounded by so many dogs for so long, I may feel anxious when left alone. If possible, I hope to find a family who can spend a lot of time with me and help me feel safe. I spent my life curled up in dark, crowded spaces just trying to protect myself. Now, I’m hoping to learn how to relax, how to lean on someone, and how to live wrapped in love. I’m waiting for my first… and last… real family. Love, Luca 🐶

Story
🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster home Hi… my name is Aria 🤍 I’m a 1-year-old female Cocker Spaniel mix, and I weigh about 6kg. I’m very small and very quiet—so quiet that sometimes people don’t notice me at first. I was rescued from an animal hoarding situation. There were more than 80 dogs living in a space so crowded there was hardly room to stand. In that place, I learned to curl my body in tight and stay still, just to protect myself. I was so gentle and timid that even when other dogs were rough with me, I never cried out or fought back. I just endured everything in silence. Thankfully, I was rescued—and for the first time, I was held in human arms. Because of my past, I rely on people more than other dogs. At first, even a gentle touch felt unfamiliar and scary. But little by little, as I felt human warmth, I began to calm down and feel safe. I don’t demand attention. I’ll quietly walk over and sit beside you. That’s how I show my love. Just being close is enough for me. I am extremely gentle, very small, and truly beautiful— but more than anything, I am incredibly loving. I sometimes use pee pads, but if my environment changes, I’ll need patient guidance and time to relearn. I’m new to home life, so everything I experience is part of my learning journey. Because I spent so long surrounded by many dogs, I may have some separation anxiety. That’s why I hope to meet a family who can spend a lot of time with me and help me feel secure. For so long, I lived in a narrow, dark space, curled up just to survive. Now, I hope to learn how to lean comfortably into my family’s love— to rest without fear, and to belong. I’m waiting for my first and last true family. If you choose me, I promise to stay by your side, quietly and faithfully, with my whole heart. 🕊️

Story
Meet Moses! He is a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix. He will need an experienced adopter as he can bite and redirect on you without warning. He needs to be in an adult only home, preferably with a woman. He is protective of his person and is not fond of most people. He does not like to have more than one person to share his affection with. He will need a quiet home without too much stimulation or people coming and going. He is a happy boy who needs strict consistency. He loves female dogs and would love to be in a home with one to play with. He needs a home with a yard, no apartment living for him. He walks well on a leash, is potty trained, crate trained and knows basic commands. Moses is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Mello Age: 5 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Spaniel–Jindo Mix Color: Brown / Ivory Weight: 15 kg Height: 57 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story Mello entered a municipal shelter in February 2025 and spent 10 long months waiting for a chance. In December, just days before euthanasia, he was rescued and transferred to the AKR Center—where he’s finally been able to show his gentle, affectionate personality.   With People Mello is a very affectionate boy who loves human attention. He happily approaches both familiar people and strangers, leans in for pets, and enjoys being cuddled and held. He does not show fear toward men, though he clearly prefers women. He has not had experience with children under 13. Once he bonds with you, he’ll comfortably roll over to show his belly and soak up the love.   With Other Dogs Mello will greet unfamiliar dogs politely but isn’t interested in playing. He prefers doing his own thing—sniffing, marking, and spending time with people. Since being neutered after rescue, he has shown discomfort around larger male dogs. While he does not initiate fights, he may follow and warn similarly sized male dogs, so a home without male dogs is recommended. He does very well with female dogs and small dogs, regardless of energy level. Because he is people-oriented and not interested in canine friendships, Mello would truly thrive as the only dog in the home.   Cats & Small Animals On walks, Mello shows little interest in moving objects and stays focused on his walk. A home cat test is available.   Energy Level Low. Mello is calm, relaxed, and enjoys resting quietly.   ‍ Walks He has excellent leash manners and does not pull. Mello prefers sniffing over fast walking and enjoys frequent stops for scent exploration, marking, and his signature back-leg kicks.   Other Notes • Does not guard food with people or dogs • May guard toys slightly (as shownin the video); may bark briefly to protect his own toy but does not escalate or fight • No separation anxiety • Quiet and calm in a kennel or enclosure • Very happy and bouncy when people return • Rarely barks • 100% outdoor potty trained • May mark in new environments   Medical Note: Mello is missing his front teeth, and his lower right canine has been removed.   Mello is a gentle, people-loving boy who would do best in a calm home where he can be someone’s whole world. If you’re looking for a quiet companion who prefers humans over dog parks, Mello may be your perfect match. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Echo is a 2-year old Brittany who is a true puppy at heart.  He is a very loving boy who likes to cuddle and gets very silly when he is excited.  He is also very good on walks. Echo needs a home with very patient and dog-savvy people because he came from a rough situation.  He is still learning how to be on his best behavior, with his foster family working with him on potty and kennel training.  Echo appears to be afraid of the dark as he gets very anxious outside when the sun is down. He is fine inside at night and likes to sleep in his parents’ bedroom.  Echo needs a home that has someone at home most of the time due to his separation anxiety.  The ideal home would include a strong female presence as he is timid around males. Echo may need a little extra work but he is absolutely worth it, he is the sweetest boy and would make a great companion. Echo will need a home with a yard that has a 6 foot privacy fence so he can safety run zoomies and hang out in the sun.  He also needs an owner who can provide extra time and attention to his training and understands the exercise needs of a young Brittany and can take him on daily walks/runs.  Echo does great with other dogs and having a companion dog in the home is preferred as that presence would do a lot to make him feel comfortable.  Echo is also good with mature, dog-savvy children. Echo is neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $400.00.  If you are interested in making Echo a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give him, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  If interested, contact Patti at 801.641.4053 after completing an application.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.  January 20, 2026, 12:53 am

Story
Maple is a 2.5-year-old French Brittany who packs a whole lot of charm into her perfect 25-pound frame. Her foster family lovingly calls her “Meatball,” and honestly…it fits. She’s adorable, goofy, snuggly, and absolutely devoted to her people. Maple LOVES car rides, plush toys, and curling up next to you for belly rubs. She didn’t get much freedom or enrichment in her early life and likely spent most of her time in a kennel, so she came to us needing a refresher on potty training and some basic house habits. She’s made steady progress but still needs a patient family willing to keep her routine consistent. She can be a bit curious and may check out items that aren’t technically “hers,” so keeping tempting things out of reach and offering plenty of dog-safe toys will set her up for success. Maple does well in her kennel when her people are out of the house. She may give a little protest bark at first (she just has to make sure you know she has notes), but she settles down and rests quietly once she realizes she’s safe. Maple is not a dog that can live with or closely interact with other dogs. Through training, she has made progress in calmly seeing dogs at a distance with positive reinforcement, but pushing those interactions too quickly can cause anxiety for her. For her comfort and safety, she must be an only dog, and a fenced-in yard (ideally privacy fenced) would suit her best so she can explore and enjoy the outdoors stress-free. She’s playful, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. Maple has mastered “sit", and is working on more tricks, but needs a little patience since she isn’t very food motivated. Maple is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Now she’s just waiting for a family who sees how special she is and can give her the structure, love, and dog-free home she deserves. Maple is currently in foster care in Wisconsin and has an adoption donation fee of $400.  If you are interested in adopting her and have been approved to adopt, let your state coordinator know you are interested in her.  If you haven’t yet done so, please go to: https://www.nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application to fill out an application.  Your state coordinator will contact you and take you through the approval process.  If your application looks like a possible fit for her, your coordinator will contact Maple’s coordinator and continue the screening process. Maple’s state coordinator is Hallie Barbara. She can be reached at Minnesotabrittany@gmail.com for questions or inquires.   Thank you for considering this sweet girl.  December 15, 2025, 9:27 am
