Meet Moses! He is a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix. He will need an experienced adopter as he can bite and redirect on you without warning. He needs to be in an adult only home, preferably with a woman. He is protective of his person and is not fond of most people. He does not like to have more than one person to share his affection with. He will need a quiet home without too much stimulation or people coming and going. He is a happy boy who needs strict consistency. He loves female dogs and would love to be in a home with one to play with. He needs a home with a yard, no apartment living for him. He walks well on a leash, is potty trained, crate trained and knows basic commands. Moses is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Let's all take a second to appreciate what is happening with Zeus McGoose’s ears. Seriously... they deserve their own fan club. Between those long, floppy ears, his beautiful golden-red locks, the adorable freckles sprinkled across his nose, and those perfectly expressive little forehead wrinkles, Zeus looks like he walked straight out of a storybook. He's the kind of dog that makes people stop scrolling, smile, and immediately think, "Okay... I need to know more about this guy." The good news? His personality is every bit as wonderful as his looks. Zeus is sweet, fun, easy to live with, and has that perfect balance so many people hope to find. He's playful without bouncing off the walls, affectionate without needing to be glued to your side, and happy simply being part of whatever you're doing. Whether he's carrying around one of his beloved squeaky toys, lounging in the sunshine, or hanging out with his people after a day of fun, Zeus has this easygoing charm that's incredibly easy to fall in love with. Watch his video and prepare to become obsessed with those ears: https://youtu.be/TkrTH-Je-GI?si=eXC_GPY0jrIu3d73 He is approximately 2 years old, currently weighs around 28 lbs, and we believe he may be a Cocker Spaniel mix. As with any rescue dog, breed is always a mystery and we can never guarantee exactly what he is, but whatever his breed mix may be... we think he absolutely hit the genetic jackpot. Zeus is currently fostered in a multi-dog home with several little dogs that weigh around 10-12 lbs, and he's done wonderfully with them. He's not the type that's constantly trying to wrestle or play all day long, but he definitely enjoys having little buddies to run around the backyard with. He seems perfectly content doing his own thing, joining in when he feels like it, and then settling back down again. We haven't had the opportunity to introduce him to dogs his size or larger just yet, but we'd be more than happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with a dog that has a similar temperament to yours if you'd like us to. One thing you'll quickly learn about Zeus is that this boy has priorities... and squeaky toys are very high on the list. Honestly, we're pretty convinced he can hear one from across the house. The second he hears that squeak, he's ready to investigate. He absolutely loves his toys, especially squeaky ones, and likes keeping them nearby almost like they're his emotional support buddies. Balls are another favorite, and watching him happily bounce around the yard with a toy in his mouth is guaranteed to make you smile. He's also a smart cookie. Zeus already knows how to sit, absolutely loves treats, takes them with the gentlest mouth, and genuinely enjoys learning. His foster describes him as eager to please, which makes working with him both fun and rewarding. Zeus is crate trained and does wonderfully in his crate. He's also doing really well with potty training. His foster shares that accidents in the house are very rare, and while he's still putting the finishing touches on always remembering exactly where the appropriate potty spots are, he's already built a really solid foundation. We think Zeus would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can chase toys, zoom around when the mood strikes, stretch out for an afternoon sunbath, and enjoy all the little things that make him happiest. While we haven't had the opportunity to see him with children just yet, based on everything we've learned about him so far, we think he has wonderful potential to become an incredible family dog, especially for a family with older kids that want a goofy, toy-loving companion to grow up with. At the end of the day, Zeus really isn't asking for much. A basket overflowing with squeaky toys. A backyard to enjoy. A family that loves him. Maybe a tennis ball or two. And plenty of people willing to tell him how ridiculously handsome he is, because honestly... they're probably going to be thinking it anyway. If you've been looking for a dog that's equal parts handsome, playful, sweet, and easy to live with, Zeus just might be your perfect match. We have a feeling those floppy ears are going to steal your attention first... but it's his personality that'll steal your heart. We are willing to test Zeus McGoose with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
**Brad and Scout: Bonded Brothers**   *King Charles Cavalier-Dachshund-Chihuahua Mix* **Background**   Brad and Scout are a unique pair of 5-year-old mixed-breed dogs, consisting of Cavalier King Charles, Dachshund, and Chihuahua, rescued during a hoarding raid. They are the only two remaining from their previous family and seek a forever home together. It is crucial for their well-being that they stay together, as they have formed a special bond. **What Brad and Scout Need**   Brad and Scout are not just looking for a home; they are searching for best friends. With the right amount of love and patience, you will gain two very loving and devoted companions. They are young and have many years ahead of them to be your loyal friends.  Please note that Brad and Scout require an ADULT-only home to ensure they receive the appropriate care and attention.  Brad is outgoing and loves sleeping with you at night, burying himself under the covers, and falling asleep in your arms or lap. He is very affectionate with the person he bonds with and wants to cuddle and be by their side, wherever they go. On the other hand, Scout is more cautious and shy and will need time to come around independently. He enjoys being talked to and will take treats from your hand. Once he is out of the busy, often chaotic rescue environment and in a warm and loving home, we believe he will begin to open up to his new family.  Brad has a vibrant personality. Although he may be initially shy and reticent, he will start to trust you once he realizes you are a friend. After spending the night with you, he will become your new best friend by morning. Brad loves to follow you everywhere, and Scout will follow him, as he also wishes to feel loved and petted, even if he is too shy to seek it out. **How to Meet and Adopt**   Brad and Scout have been switched to a human-grade diet, avoiding kibble in favor of a specifically tailored, healthy canine feeding plan. We have provided them with the best care possible and will continue to support their new owners with guidance on their diet and nutrition. To adopt Brad and Scout, a special bonded pup adoption fee of $595.00 applies. All funds will cover medical expenses and help rescue more dogs.  Please fill out the online application form using the following link.   Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we can get to know you and make the best match.          www.smallpupsrescue.org June 29, 2026, 5:28 pm
