Story
Meet Moses! He is a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix. He will need an experienced adopter as he can bite and redirect on you without warning. He needs to be in an adult only home, preferably with a woman. He is protective of his person and is not fond of most people. He does not like to have more than one person to share his affection with. He will need a quiet home without too much stimulation or people coming and going. He is a happy boy who needs strict consistency. He loves female dogs and would love to be in a home with one to play with. He needs a home with a yard, no apartment living for him. He walks well on a leash, is potty trained, crate trained and knows basic commands. Moses is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Johnny Gaddar is a sweetheart, a companion, and a devoted little shadow. That said, and if you hug someone else while he's watching, he's going to have some thoughts about it. This boy loves his person deeply and completely, and he's not particularly subtle about it. He wants to be close, and if someone encroaches on his human's affection, he will register a formal complaint. He's small, so the complaint is more bark than bite, but it's worth knowing going in that Johnny takes his role as devoted companion very seriously, and expects the same energy in return. When he's not guarding his person's honor, Johnny is playing fetch, cuddling on the chest of whoever will have him, and generally being a wonderful little pup. He's smart, picks things up fast, understands the household routine, and is fully potty trained, crate trained, and comes when called. He's good with other dogs, small animals, and car rides. Johnny is looking for someone who wants to be loved by a small dog with big feelings. If that's you, he is going to make you feel incredibly special every. Single. Day. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
