Chuck would thrive as an adventure buddy, agility or scent-work partner, sporting companion, or even a well-managed ranch dog. He’s truly a gem for someone ready to invest in his brilliance and big heart. Important considerations: 🏡 Needs a very secure home setup—Chuck will try to escape to be with people when left alone 🚧 Can jump high and will clear fences if he learns he can; a tall, secure fence or in-ground system is essential 🐱 Not tested with cats and may have a higher prey drive 🐶 Dog-savvy home recommended with well-matched canine companions

Story
Hudson is a 1-year-old boy needing a new home due to recent financial changes and my inability to provide the continued training he needs. This has been an incredibly hard decision, but my priority is finding him a place where he can truly thrive. Hudson is sweet, affectionate, house-trained, kennel-trained, muzzle-trained, and knows basic commands. He’s energetic, goofy, and becomes a big cuddle bug once he trusts his people. He thrives on routine and strong bonds. Hudson does have fear-based reactivity toward new people and needs slow, structured introductions. He has nipped in the past when overwhelmed, so he needs an experienced or confident dog owner willing to continue training. He lives well with another dog but careful introductions are important. Hudson isn’t a bad dog — he’s a young dog who needs patience, consistency, and understanding. With the right home, he will be an incredibly loyal companion. No rehoming fee.

Story
Jenga is looking for a loving home! Things the team knows about me: I LOVE cuddies and prefer to be with my human as much as possible. I am I have a sassy side but also very friendly with everyone I met. I am not kennel trained but am willing to do my best. We are not for sure about how I would do with cats my foster mommy does not have any. Again, I am willing to try to get along with any new family members. I’m full of puppy energy and ready to learn! Training is up to my new family, and I’m excited to master things like potty training, basic commands, and socializing. I can’t wait to grow and learn with you! Come meet me at High Country Humane, located at 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday–Tuesday, 11 am–5 pm, and closed on Wednesdays. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase them here. We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend!
