Story
Hello, I'm Elisa. I may be a senior, but my heart is full of love to give. I'm a sweet, mellow, and gentle soul. I enjoy a short walk every day; It's my little adventure, a time to sniff around and stretch my legs. I'm a bit of a food critic, you see. I like my meals just so, but once I find something I love, I stick to it. Most of my day, you'll find me lounging around, a true couch potato. I'm house trained and well-behaved; I'm not the type to cause a fuss. I'm just looking for a loving home where I can spend my golden years. I promise to be your loyal companion, your quiet confidante, and your source of unconditional love. My adoption fee is $250 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market For more information about me or to schedule a meet and greet appointment, please complete an adoption questionnaire.

Story
Meet Charlotte — A Truly Special Soul Ready for Her Forever Home! Charlotte’s journey hasn’t been easy, but her spirit shines brighter than ever. Found by a good Samaritan as a stray, painfully emaciated and covered in ticks, Charlotte was in desperate need of help. We rushed her to Veterinary Emergency Group, where she received the urgent care she needed to begin healing. Along the way, we discovered Charlotte has entropion, a painful condition where her eyelids turn inward and irritate her eyes. In true beauty queen fashion, she received gentle, advanced treatment using hyaluronic acid fillers to ease her discomfort. We also learned she has trigeminal myopathy, a nerve condition that affects the muscles that close her jaw. Despite this, Charlotte has adapted beautifully — and surprisingly, she doesn’t need much special care. She’s able to enjoy life much like any other dog and is simply looking for the same things all dogs deserve: love, companionship, and a place to call home. Charlotte’s calm, loving nature has touched everyone at the sanctuary. She is the kind of dog who quietly changes you. Her gentle spirit, soft presence, and steady heart leave a mark you’ll never forget. She’s ready for a home where she can continue to thrive, surrounded by love. If you feel your heart opening to this extraordinary girl, please visit skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications to submit an adoption application. We would love to answer your questions and help you get to know Charlotte — she is truly one of a kind.

Story
Niko needs training. Haven't had time to spend with him. Gets along with older kids. Teenage up. He was found at the park. Likes his walks. Friendly, and protective. Gets along with both my female and male dogs. I am relocating out of state. I tried to give him a good home, but can't take him with me.
