Story
Meet Bret! Bret is a 1-year old male Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier mix who weighs 30.7 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. He is currently located in Spring Hill. Bret's foster is willing to travel within 2 hours of Spring Hill, FL for an approved adoption applicant! Bret is a lovely, affectionate boy with tons of energy and enthusiasm for life. He absolutely loves to run and play, and he’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. With his intelligence and drive, he would make a fantastic sports prospect or thrive with an active family that enjoys hiking, running, water activities, or other outdoor adventures. He does well with other dogs and would benefit from having another active canine companion to help burn off his energy. He is not a good fit for cats because he plays rough with them. His experience with small children is unknown. Bret is crate trained and leash trained. He heels well on a leash when given reminders. Bret also knows how to "auto-sit" when you stop walking. He has learned many other commands in training such as down, stay, come, and leave it. Bret appears to be house trained. Bret graduated from basic obedience and intermediate obedience. He is now working on advanced obedience. If you’re looking for a fun, athletic, and affectionate companion to share your adventures, Bret may be the perfect match! Story
Originally 7 pups, from a backyard breeder. Mom is a blue heeler, dad is a red. There are 2 puppies left Joey and Constance. They were turned over to a rescue in Alabama, in very bad shape, All passed away from worms except 3, 1 stayed in Alabama. So after TLC, good nutrition and vet care and LOTS of worming (the others died from worm overload) these pups are doing so much better!! They are now around 3-4 months old. They have been socialized with other dogs, people and kids. Gotten age appropriate shots and are gaining weight. They will be coming to Florida in a week or two and we are in need of committed FOSTERS or FOSTER TO ADOPT, that can give these pups secure loving homes. Please note these are puppies, you must have the time, knowledge and patience to work with pups. These pups will be flown to Florida most likely Orlando area, and you would need to be able to pick them up when they land. If you are ready to help these little ones, please submit an application!! We are lining up fosters or adopters now!!!
