Story
I adopted Mac from Ewenity which specializes in herding dogs. One year ago, I suffered a stroke which affected my mobility. As a result, I made the decision to move from Florida to be closer to my family in the Chicago area. It is nearly impossible to find a condo that will allow dogs and I would have difficulty in exercising Mac as well as taking him outside for needed bathroom breaks. Mac is well-trained and has a loving personality. He is 14 years old but still has a lot of energy and loves to go for walks. I would love to find someone who will interact with Mac and is comfortable with an older companion.

Story
Mack is a border collie/Australian shepherd mix who is 13 and weighs approximately 50 pounds. He is very active and loves to walk. He never met anyone he didn't instantly like. He's great with kids and has been through obedience school so he knows his basic commands. In short, he's a joy to have around and it breaks my heart that due to health reasons, I must try to find a new home for him.

Story
Meet Bret! Bret is a 1-year old male Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier mix who weighs about 35 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. He is currently located in Spring Hill. Bret's foster is willing to travel within 2 hours of Spring Hill, FL for an approved adoption applicant! Bret is a lovely, affectionate boy with tons of energy and enthusiasm for life. He absolutely loves to run and play, and he’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. With his intelligence and drive, he would make a fantastic sports prospect or thrive with an active family that enjoys hiking, running, water activities, or other outdoor adventures. He does well with other dogs and would benefit from having another active canine companion to help burn off his energy. He is not a good fit for cats because he plays rough with them. His experience with small children is unknown. Bret is crate trained and leash trained. He heels well on a leash when given reminders. Bret also knows how to "auto-sit" when you stop walking. He has learned many other commands in training such as down, stay, come, and leave it. Bret appears to be house trained. Bret graduated from basic obedience and intermediate obedience. He is now working on advanced obedience. If you’re looking for a fun, athletic, and affectionate companion to share your adventures, Bret may be the perfect match!
