🚨Border Collie/Herding Dog Experienced Foster or Foster to Adopt Needed. 🔹Pets Name: Penelope 🔹Age/DOB: 2 years old 🔹Gender: Female 🔹Spayed: Yes 🔹Weight: 50lbs 🔹Breed / Breeds: Border Collie Penelope is a very smart sweet border with typical herding tendencies. She has been on sheep and done very well. She is house broken leash trained. Does not like a crate but will go in , Needs work with crate training. Penny is a dog that needs someone who can set boundaries in a positive firm consistent manner. Typical of herders, she will try to control if she senses you are not in charge. She knows commands, she is motion activated as are most herders. We are working with that and she can be reactive with other dogs, thus the need for a dog savvy handler. She would do best in a home with one other dog or no other dogs for those less experienced. Fenced yard is a must, as is a knowledgeable border collie person . She would do well where she could work stock. She will be in the port charlotte area. 📩 Apply to foster or foster to adopt at the link below! ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
This handsome boy is 3-year-old Moby and he's waiting for you at Satchel's! Moby can be a little shy of strangers but warms up quickly. He enjoys his walks with volunteers, followed by a nice cool down in the kiddie pool while he waits at the gate for his turn to return to his kennel. Moby is full of energy and is currently working with a trainer to learn basic understanding of what is acceptable behavior. Note from a volunteer: "Moby is a darling and very smart. He’s a “back scratch” grass loving boy who prefers water over land any day. He should’ve been a fish 🐠." For an appointment to meet Moby, please submit the adoption application (no commitment) found at satchelslastresort.org.

Story
She is a wonderful dog. Full of energy and super smart. She was house trained within the first few days. This sweet baby was found in Georgia with another puppy that someone had discarded. While she started off with a rough life. She’s ready to go now with all of her shots and she has been spayed and chipped. She is ready for her new loving home. We guess her age is about 9 months old. She needs a home that is active and has people that are home regularly. With our work schedules, we are not here enough for her and don’t like to leave her in the crate for long periods of time. She is too energetic for that.We will be sad to see her go, but know that it will be better for her to have a home with people who can take her for walks and play catch regularly. We are doing this because we love her and know it is the better choice.

Story
It breaks my heart to rehome my 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, but due to unexpected life changes, I'm no longer able to give him the life he deserves. He is an incredibly loving, loyal, and well-behaved boy who is great with kids and gets along well with other dogs. He loves being with his people, whether that's going for walks, playing outside, or relaxing at home. As an Australian Cattle Dog, he's intelligent and enjoys staying active, but he's also happy to spend quality time with his family. This has been a very difficult decision, and I'm looking for a safe, loving home where he'll be treated as a cherished member of the family. He has so much love to give, and I know he'll make a wonderful companion for the right person or family.

Story
Meet Bret! Bret is a 1-year old male Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier mix who weighs about 35 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. He is currently located in Spring Hill. Bret's foster is willing to travel within 2 hours of Spring Hill, FL for an approved adoption applicant! Bret is a lovely, affectionate boy with tons of energy and enthusiasm for life. He absolutely loves to run and play, and he’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. With his intelligence and drive, he would make a fantastic sports prospect or thrive with an active family that enjoys hiking, running, water activities, or other outdoor adventures. He does well with other dogs and would benefit from having another active canine companion to help burn off his energy. He is not a good fit for cats because he plays rough with them. His experience with small children is unknown. Bret is crate trained and leash trained. He heels well on a leash when given reminders. Bret also knows how to "auto-sit" when you stop walking. He has learned many other commands in training such as down, stay, come, and leave it. Bret appears to be house trained. Bret graduated from basic obedience and intermediate obedience. He is now working on advanced obedience. If you’re looking for a fun, athletic, and affectionate companion to share your adventures, Bret may be the perfect match! Story
Looking for a Velcro heeler aka your new best friend? Look no more! Pepper is a young heeler that was found abandoned. She was rescued and has been vetted and fixed. She will be coming to FL on the 8th and needs a place to go. Pepper has been dog tested and is good with dogs, she just needs a proper introduction to them. She absolutely loves her people and will stick by your side! Pepper has high energy like a typical heeler and needs a home that wants a high energy dog. She probably wouldn’t do best in a home with cats.
