Story
🚨Border Collie/Herding Dog Experienced Foster or Foster to Adopt Needed. 🔹Pets Name: Penelope 🔹Age/DOB: 2 years old 🔹Gender: Female 🔹Spayed: Yes 🔹Weight: 50lbs 🔹Breed / Breeds: Border Collie Penelope is a very smart sweet border with typical herding tendencies. She has been on sheep and done very well. She is house broken leash trained. Does not like a crate but will go in , Needs work with crate training. Penny is a dog that needs someone who can set boundaries in a positive firm consistent manner. Typical of herders, she will try to control if she senses you are not in charge. She knows commands, she is motion activated as are most herders. We are working with that and she can be reactive with other dogs, thus the need for a dog savvy handler. She would do best in a home with one other dog or no other dogs for those less experienced. Fenced yard is a must, as is a knowledgeable border collie person . She would do well where she could work stock. She will be in the port charlotte area. 📩 Apply to foster or foster to adopt at the link below! ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
This handsome boy is 3-year-old Moby and he's waiting for you at Satchel's! Moby can be a little shy of strangers but warms up quickly. He enjoys his walks with volunteers, followed by a nice cool down in the kiddie pool while he waits at the gate for his turn to return to his kennel. Moby is full of energy and is currently working with a trainer to learn basic understanding of what is acceptable behavior. Note from a volunteer: "Moby is a darling and very smart. He’s a “back scratch” grass loving boy who prefers water over land any day. He should’ve been a fish 🐠." For an appointment to meet Moby, please submit the adoption application (no commitment) found at satchelslastresort.org.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. WARNING: You are about to fall in love with a dog built like a cartoon character. Meet Libby — aka “LB” aka Little Bigfoot Somewhere along the way, someone thought mixing a Border Collie with a Corgi would create a mini version… They were wrong. What they got instead is this absolutely iconic girl: ✨ 48 pounds of pure love ✨ Full-size body ✨ Short, stubby little legs ✨ 100% unforgettable And honestly? We wouldn’t change a thing. At 6 years old, Libby is that perfect sweet spot — past the chaos, all about the love. She’s: ✔️ House trained ✔️ Crate trained (but doesn’t even need it) ✔️ Spayed, microchipped, and fully vetted ✔️ A total affection magnet If your hand is anywhere near her… boop. She’ll bump it for pets like it’s her full-time job. ❤️ She has a decent amount of energy, but not over the top, and just wants to be near her people. The kind of dog that m becomes your shadow and your heart. Our amazing partners at PetSuites Bloomingdale will be helping us evaluate her dog social skills, but we’re expecting this girl to fit in just about anywhere. Libby isn’t just unique — she’s special. The kind of dog you don’t see every day… and the kind you never forget. ✨ Stay tuned as we learn more about LB ✨ But don’t wait too long… dogs like this don’t stay available Apply soon to adopt at 4luckydogs.org #AdoptLibby #LittleBigfoot #LowRiderLove #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop #4LuckyDogs #FloridaRescue #UniqueDogs #RescueDogs #ForeverHomeWanted Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 21, 2026, 9:38 pm

Story
🩷 Border Collie lovers 🩷 Sweet mama Pip did the best job raising her babies and now it’s her turn for a foster or forever home! She’s young and while new environments can make her a little scared at first, she blossoms quick and is the happiest girl 🌸 She is good with other dogs. She will be spayed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. Can you foster or offer her a forever home? Story
I adopted Mac from Ewenity which specializes in herding dogs. One year ago, I suffered a stroke which affected my mobility. As a result, I made the decision to move from Florida to be closer to my family in the Chicago area. It is nearly impossible to find a condo that will allow dogs and I would have difficulty in exercising Mac as well as taking him outside for needed bathroom breaks. Mac is well-trained and has a loving personality. He is 14 years old but still has a lot of energy and loves to go for walks. I would love to find someone who will interact with Mac and is comfortable with an older companion.

Story
Meet Bret! Bret is a 1-year old male Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier mix who weighs 30.7 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. He is currently located in Spring Hill. Bret is a lovely, affectionate boy with tons of energy and enthusiasm for life. He absolutely loves to run and play, and he’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. With his intelligence and drive, he would make a fantastic sports prospect or thrive with an active family that enjoys hiking, running, water activities, or other outdoor adventures. He does well with other dogs and would benefit from having another active canine companion to help burn off his energy. He is not a good fit for cats because he plays rough with them. His experience with small children is unknown. Bret is crate trained and leash trained. He heels well on a leash when given reminders. Bret also knows how to "auto-sit" when you stop walking. He is learning many other commands in training such as down, stay, come, and leave it. Bret is working on house training. Bret graduated from basic obedience and is now working on intermediate obedience. If you’re looking for a fun, athletic, and affectionate companion to share your adventures, Bret may be the perfect match! Apply to adopt www.ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
He is just a puppy who has already been through what most dogs will ever have to endure in a lifetime. He was found skinny, hungry, and with bite wonds on him 😢 a caring bystander picked this puppy up, took him home and fed him, played with him, loved on him for a few weeks until her landlord told her :no dogs" so she called Ewenity to hkep this pup. She says his behavior around other animals is has be fine aside from a bird, he’s ok seeing her in the cage just a little curious. His personality is very sweet and puppy like he just let me pick him up right off the street and carry him from house to house to see if anyone recognized him. He was very friendly when examined it was discovered he had few bites probably from other strays and he was not clean like he had just run out of the house that moment. He is very smart and cuddly with everyone in my home and loves to give lots of kisses. He is energetic but not rowdy, he can hangout on the couch too!
