Story
This is Rip. He's a very sweet and smart boy- knows a lot of tricks and walks well on a leash but gets very anxious and cautious of new people- it takes time to warm up to someone new. You can say he is quite the protector, definitely will defend his territory. Does well with children over the age of 10. Very high energy and will do well with active family. Once he knows you he loves to cuddle.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet Liberty! Liberty is a fun-loving young girl who is looking for an active family to grow up with. She was originally adopted in July 2025 when she was just 3–4 months old, but unfortunately she has come back to us through no fault of her own. As she has grown, Liberty has become a strong, energetic dog, and her previous owner found they were unable to keep up with her activity level. Liberty is still very much a puppy at heart. She is intelligent, affectionate, curious, and full of energy. She thrives when she has plenty of stimulation, activities, and toys to keep her busy. She loves toys of all kinds and often carries her favorites around proudly. She previously lived in a home with a 13-year-old dog and did well, and here at the rescue she has shown interest in playing with some of the younger dogs. Because she is used to having a canine companion, another playful dog in the home could be a great match for her and help burn off some of that puppy energy  Liberty has been around children ages two and up and enjoys being part of an active household. A home with a fenced yard would be a big plus for her, as she absolutely loves having space to run and play. Like many young dogs, Liberty is still learning. She is potty trained and has not been destructive in the home — her previous owner shared that she has never chewed on furniture or destroyed property. She is still a bit mouthy at times, which is common for puppies, and she will benefit from continued training and guidance as she grows. She will also need some work with leash training to help her become a confident walking companion. Liberty is a wonderful young dog with so much love to give. With an active family, continued training, and plenty of playtime, she will grow into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a smart, playful pup to join your adventures, Liberty may be the perfect match for you.   Blue Heelers and Border Collies are both herding breeds, so these pups will thrive with families who are ready to keep them engaged and active. *A fenced yard to run in, walks, games of fetch, or even dog sports could be a great fit for their energetic little bodies and sharp minds.* With the right home, these pups will grow into loyal, loving companions who will stick by your side and bring endless joy and fun to your life. If you’re ready to welcome one of these amazing pups into your family, apply today and come meet them—we promise it’ll be puppy love at first sight! Important Information for New Puppy Parents Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog,  dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential We  strongly recommend that the   entire family  participates in puppy training classes . This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the  same commands and techniques , creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.
