Story
Flynn is an 8 year old rough collie/golden retriever mix. He was adopted from Humane Fort Wayne in 2022 after being found as a stray in Indianapolis. Unfortunately, I don’t have any prior history before Humane Fort Wayne so his age is also a bit of a rough estimate. He does have anxiety and is on medication for it (his special needs). He is very loving with his person/people but gets stressed in new situations. He does extremely well at doggie daycare and gets along well with other dogs there. He is very protective of his house and his people. I believe he would thrive somewhere with other dogs and a fenced yard or fenced land where he could run around. He is unsure/very anxious in new situations so any new owner would need to keep this in mind.

Story
Meet Norman, a 2-year-old standard collie. Norman is a dog's dog and prefers the company of other dogs over people. He is a very reserved dog who will take some time to win over. He is never aggressive towards people or other dogs, but is extremely reserved, and new people or things take him time to warm up to. He requires a home with a fenced yard, as he has previously escaped being out on just a lead. He is the sweetest boy, but would prefer to be a homebody; going out and about isn't his thing. His ideal home would be a calm, quiet home with older children and other dogs. Norman is neutered, vaccinated, started on prevention, and microchipped.

Story
Hi everybody, I'M CHAMP 💙Do you want to be my Valentine? 💙When I first came into rescue a few weeks ago, I was very timid and shy. They called me flapjack because I pancaked on the floor a lot. 💙I have definitely come out of my shell and am turning into the perfect mix of playful and affectionate! 💙I am a border Collie mix and am approximately 6 months old. I currently weigh in at 32 pounds. 💙I love playing with the doodle gang here in my foster home, so I know I would definitely love to have a playmate to help me burn off some of my puppy energy! 💙I'm great with the cats and will sniff them (they smell funny) and just lay next to them. 💙I'm basically Mr. Congeniality with everyone! 💙I am crate trained andhave learned the doggy door pretty well, with just a few accidents inside still. I'm actually a pretty smart boy! Oh, and did I mention handsome...with these blue eyes and all? 💙I am still a puppy, so I need guidance on all puppy matters....chewing, jumping up, play biting etc.I also don't remember ever wearing a collar or being hooked to this thing they call a leash...and it's a little scary! I'm still learning to trust that process, but I'm getting the hang of it! 💙I will steal your heart and be your best friend and a treasured part of your family if you adopt me! 💙I am available for foster-to-adopt with my adoption being finalized after my vetting is complete.I already started those poky things they call vaccines and microchips and started taking monthly heartworm prevention. My vetting will be completed by the end of the month after more poky things they call boosters and my neuter (I'm not sure I even want to know what that is)! 💙If you're interested in me becoming a part your family, please submit an adoption application at www.pawsofadamscounty.com.The ladies here say you must answer all questions completely and honestly to be considered being lucky enough to share your life with me! 💙I can't wait to meet my forever family! 💙www.pawsofadamscounty.com
