Story
Resi is one handsome guy with brains to match! This sweet boy came to FDHS as an owner surrender through no fault of his own, and he’s been making quite the impression ever since. Resi is a smart, energetic pup who thrives when he has something to do. Whether it’s going for a walk, learning something new, or just exploring the world around him, he’s happiest when his brain and body are both getting a workout. He’s a perfect medium-sized companion and walks nicely on leash, making him a great fit for someone who enjoys getting out and about. Resi has shown interest in the other dogs here at the shelter and may enjoy a canine friend, given proper introductions. We don’t have any history of him with cats at this time.Resi is the kind of dog who will really shine in a home that can match his energy and continue helping him grow into the best version of himself. He’s a fun, eager, and lovable guy who’s ready to find a family to call his own!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 40 lbs**

Story
SparkyCorgi/cattle dog mix2 years old42 poundsI came to the shelter after having been wandering and a nice lady took me in. She was trying to find an adopter for me but no luck, so I was brought here. I was at her house for 4 weeks. Here is some info that we learned about him. He did great with her dogs. He did kill a chicken, which was free roaming. And also killed a barn cat, so too much prey drive for cats. He can be bossy to other dogs, so a meet and greet with another dog is required. He will need some work on housebreaking but given a consistent schedule, he should pick it up quickly. He is crate trained and would be fine spending some time in a crate when not at home. He is used to a leash and loves to go on walks. He does enjoy playing with toys and chewing on bones. He was described as playful, friendly with visitors, and affectionate. You will not find a more unique dog.
