Story
This is Stevie, named after Stevie Nicks. Like her name sake, she is super chill. She is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. I have never seen her bite anyone and she rarely (if ever) barks. She would rather snuggle next to you on the floor, follow you to your bedroom so she can be near you, or ask you to gently pet her. She has been with my ex for almost a year, and he is unable to continue care for her. As a favor to my son I took her, but I am only allowed two pets (which I already had cats). Otherwise I would happily be her forever home. She has picked up some bad habits about not using the bathroom outside, but she used to be really good about that. She is 13 yo, but she will still climb stairs just to be near you at night. She is in desperate need of Tender Loving Care. She deserves to have a kind and loving family who can take her in and support her in her golden years. You’ll never find a more gentle or loving dog.

Story
Meet Waylon! This sweet boy is full of energy, incredibly friendly, and loves being around people. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, so he could be a great fit for many different types of homes. Waylon is an active guy who needs a dedicated family willing to keep him busy with walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of activities to help him burn off his energy. Once he’s ready to relax, he turns into a HUGE cuddle bug and loves snuggling with his people! Waylon is also doing fantastic with his muzzle training and will need an adopter who is willing to continue his progress. One important thing to know is that he may be a foreign-body risk after previously coming to me with an antler stuck in his intestines. Thankfully, I have had no issues with him while fostering, but his future family will need to be mindful of what he has access to. Waylon is a fun, social, affectionate boy who is ready to find someone who can keep up with his energy and give him all the love!!

Daisy is a Red Heeler Mix, she weighs between 30 - 40-lbs, do well with other dogs, all people she has met so far however she may need some time to warm up as she has not had a lot of socialization but has been doing well since we have had them. Daisy will need a homes that is familiar with the cattle breed and all the quirks that come with them, these dogs needs lots of exercise and stimulation, they also like to be with their person or their people. They have a tendency to want to herd especially younger kids which is why we suggest older kids unless you are experienced with the breed. Daisy will all be fully vetted including Spay, HW Test, All vaccines including Rabies & Lepto, Dewormed, Placed on Monthly Preventatives as well as Microchipped Daisy will also be attending the Puppies for Parole Training starting on August 28th This is a 8 -10 week training held here at the Moberly Department of Corrections, while there she will learn House Training, Kennel Training, Basic Commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, Recall, Leash Walking and more depending on her quickness to learn new tasks. Adoption Fee $275.00
