Say Hello to Cider, a Collie/hound mix girl born around 7/17/24. Cider is a sweet, loving and cuddly little girl. She is shy at first, but warms up quickly. Be prepared for lots of puppy kisses once she does! Cider loves to run and play in her backyard so she would really love her future family to have a structurally fenced in area. She is currently 11 pounds and will weigh around 40lbs when fully grown. Cider is great with other dogs. She loves to play with plush toys, chew toys and your toes if you are not careful! Her family needs to be home often to continue her puppy training. Cider is current on her vaccines and her adoption fee includes her future spay and microchip. Introducing Casper, a handsome Collie/Hound mix boy born around 7/17/24. Casper is a very happy, social puppy. He is always up for playing, chasing, wrestling, and exploring. He loves all dogs of all sizes including his Great Dane foster sibling. He is a super sweet puppy as well. His foster mom says he LOVES to be held and get lots of loving. He returns the love with lots of face licks. Casper is looking for a family with a fenced in backyard and who is home often to continue his puppy training. Casper will probably be around 45lbs when fully grown. He and his siblings are very smart. They are doing very well with their crate training. He does well in the car, and enjoys outings, “talking” to anyone who will engage with him! Casper is current on his vaccines. His adoption fee includes his future neuter and microchip. Momma Donna is a Kelpie/Heeler mix girl that gave birth 3 months ago to 8 beautiful, wonderful Heeler puppies. This girl is 2 years old and only 42 pounds.  She is amazingly smart and seems to know exactly what you are saying to her.  We think that Momma Donna would be a perfect addition to a home with children who want to play and teach a dog some good tricks and manners.  She is willing to learn anything. Critter Cavalry Rescue is trying to help several dogs like Lyla out of a small rural shelter that is cramped and hard on the spirit of the kind of dog like Lyla.  She came to the shelter as an owner surrender forced by the animal control of the shelter.   She and her sister were being crated 24.7 just about and this was negligent and cruel.  She has been in this little shelter for almost 3 months now and her Blue Heeler spirit is just being stifled to get out and have some time to roam a yard, go for a fun run of fetch the ball or just be sleeping on a soft cozy dog bed at your feet.  It is just hard on the spirit when these dogs are stashed away and unnoticed and very little attention except to feed them.  She is 1-2 years old and 38 pounds.  She is mostly Heeler from what we can tell but on the darker side and she is warm and friendly but cautious too because of the confinement she has experienced.  Help us if you love the breed or love rescuing and fostering or even adopting.  She is fully vetted and ready to go!  Email us at  ccrnewengland@gmail.com   It is time to free Lyla! Story
My name is Pauley and I would love to be your BFF kind of family member.   I am 4 months old and they tell me that I am a ONE OF A KIND sort of puppy.  My colors and my dazzling blue eyes and ears that are going to be unpredictable (will they go up or stay down)  is what makes everyone stop and turn around to take a look at me.  I honestly love everyone and every creature that I meet.  God just made me to be a happy boy inside and out.  I really like dogs, cats and I adore children.  I never meet a stranger that I didn't like.  They say that I am a forgiving pup and I have had some hard times and things done to me that most dogs would never forgive.  But all that is in the past.  I just feel that I must be kind and show people what the true love of a dog can feel like. They say it is hard to know exactly what kind of breeds are in my background but I know that they tell me I am different and very special.  I am almost 20 pounds and probably headed to being a 45 pound adult when I am fully grown.
