Sweet 7-month old Molly is ready to find a family who will show her just how wonderful life can be.
Molly is an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who wants nothing more than to please her people. She had a quieter start to life without as much love, attention, and socialization as a young puppy should have, so she can be shy when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar places. Once she feels safe, though, her affectionate personality begins to shine.
This girl would happily become your couch potato and bedtime buddy! Molly loves being close to her humans. If she can’t be right beside you, she’s perfectly content having her own bed next to your chair or bed—she just likes knowing her person is nearby.
At seven months old, Molly is still very much a puppy with a whole world to discover. She’s currently working on her basic manners, including leash walking, sit, come, stay, and learning to share appropriately with the other dogs in her foster home. She’s doing very well with both crate training and house training, although her new family should be prepared to continue reinforcing everything she’s learning.
Molly walks nicely on leash but can become unsure in unfamiliar surroundings, so she’ll benefit from a patient family willing to continue building her confidence through positive experiences and socialization. She also travels well in the car and hasn’t shown any problems with motion sickness.
She has shown no aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs. Molly enjoys having another dog around to play and roughhouse with, but she could also be perfectly happy as an only dog if her person has plenty of time for play, walks, adventures, and companionship. She hasn’t been around cats, although we don’t currently have reason to believe they would be a problem with an appropriate introduction.
And because she’s still a puppy… yes, puppy chewing is part of the package! A good supply of toys and appropriate chews will be Molly-approved.
A fenced yard would be wonderful for her and would give her a safe place to play and continue gaining confidence.
More than anything, Molly needs someone who understands that she doesn’t have to discover the whole world overnight. Give her a little patience, plenty of kindness, and the security of knowing she’s finally home—and you’ll have one very devoted little girl by your side.
