Faith came from my neighbor, he rescued her off the euthanasia list the day she was set to be put to sleep. He is older and has not been able to adequately care for her. She is left outside in the heat 24/7 and not allowed inside. Because of this her paw pads have been burned and she has a cut on her paw, I have taken her in and have made sure she is out of the heat and safe and taken care of but I already have 4 dogs and a toddler of my own. Faith is a very gentle girl, she is house trained. Good with dogs with normal introductions, she is fed seperate as she does show some food aggression while in a kennel as she has not been fed on a daily basis while with my neighbor and is now adjusting. I am looking for someone that would love to give this girl the break she deserves and give her a good loving home.

Gertie is a very sweet dog.  She gets along great with other dogs.  Energetic, loves attention, and playing. Some of our dogs are adopted very quickly.  If you are truly interested in a dog fill out an application ASAP.  If you take the time to email a question someone will already be ahead of you with a completed application.  You can find all the information we have about a particular cat/dog at the link below as well.  Then click the adopt button to fill out an application. Introducing Thelma 🩵 Thelma and her sister Louise came to us as strays who were left unclaimed. She’s estimated as a 1 year old fully grown Australian Kelpie mix. Thelma is more reserved and anxious than her sister. Thelma appears to be suffering from littermate syndrome. She pants nervously, is vocal, paces back and forth in her kennel when she can’t see her sister or us. Typically puppies who are raised together (either littermates or similar ages) start to bond w each other too much, making it close to impossible to bond w other animals or humans. Thelma is set to be vetted tomorrow 4/16 at Skiatook Paws & Claws Animal Rescue. She’ll be spayed, vaccinated, chipped, heartworm tested, and given preventatives (if heartworm negative). Thelma would greatly benefit from having a foster home so she can learn that it’s alright to not be so dependent on her sister. She’s definitely a follower, not an in charge alpha female.
