Howdy guys! — I'm Buppy, a pint-sized (for now) red and white pup with big personality already shining through! 🐶 At just two months old, I'm a Collie mix who's still learning the ropes, but I'm already showing signs of being affectionate, playful, and full of energy. I'm neutered and mostly crate-trained, which gives you a great head start as I grow into my best self. While I am still learning the ropes, I'm ready to bring love, laughs, and a little mischief into your home — call my friends at the Humane Society to schedule a meet and me soon! 💕

Gertie is a very sweet dog.  She gets along great with other dogs.  Energetic, loves attention, and playing. Some of our dogs are adopted very quickly.  If you are truly interested in a dog fill out an application ASAP.  If you take the time to email a question someone will already be ahead of you with a completed application.  You can find all the information we have about a particular cat/dog at the link below as well.  Then click the adopt button to fill out an application. To be pre approved fill out an application at the link below.  You are welcome to come in anytime we are open to meet the cats and dogs.  If you are preapproved you can adopt on the same day.  We are open Monday-Saturday 1-4.  Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.  https://arfok.org/pages/adoption Adoption fee is $150 for all dogs over 6 months old, $200 for large breed puppies under 6 months, $250 for small breed puppies and some pure breed dogs.  All adoptions include, spay/neuter, vaccines, a heartworm test, and a free 1 year membership to our 5 acre ARF Park.  For other dog questions please email ARFdogs74006@gmail.com We do adopt out of state, but the adopter must travel to ARF to meet the dog they are looking to adopt.  They must have an approved application before traveling to meet the dog.  We do allow small dogs that are eligible to fly in the cabin of a plane.  We DO NOT allow dogs to travel in the cargo area of the plane under any circumstances.  Any dog that is adopted can of course go by personal vehicle.  We do not allow dogs to be transported "pony express style" where they are passed from driver to driver.   ##2667611##

Introducing Louise 💜 Louise and her sister Thelma came to us as strays who were left unclaimed. Louise is estimated as a 1 year old fully grown Australian Kelpie. She’s a very smart girl who picks up on things and routines quick. She knows sit, walks well on leash, fetches, smiles sometimes for pics, and is very food/treat motivated (for training purposes). She is more outgoing/social than her sister and seems to be the one in charge of the two. We’re not sure how she is w other dogs, cats, or kids at the moment but will be testing her very soon. Set to be spayed, chipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and given preventions (as long as she’s negative for hesrtworms) tomorrow 4/16 at Skiatook Paws & Claws Animal Rescue.
