Story
This handsome guy is Dawson. Dawson was unfortunately on a euthanization list and his time was almost up. He is only 2 years old. He is playful, good with other dogs, affectionate to people, calm...and about to lose his life because he was in a shelter that was filling up again. But he is safe now and ready for his people! Dawson is a great size at 45 lbs and definitely crate trained. He would make any family a wonderful addition. Our applications for Dawson can be found at www.carerescueok.org. ##1989771##

Story
Jenny is a female red heeler that had been roaming a neighborhood in town off and on for a few months. After serving her stray hold, no owners have come forward. Jenny is very smart. She will bring a ball to you when she wants to play fetch. She plays fetch wonderfully and does bring the ball back and drops it. She also knows how to sit, and shake. Jenny needs a little bit of work on walking on a leash. Jenny as rides really well in the truck as she just sits in the seat and makes the best passenger princess.

Story
We heard someone say this about Rickey recently, and it just broke our hearts: "He's just kind of plain. Another big brown male dog. Nothing too special about him." But when we look into his eyes, we see something different. We see a weary traveler, a dog who's lived in filth and never had a clean home to relax in. A wounded warrior, who has scrounged for food and fought to stay alive when no one was taking care of him. A voiceless soul, who couldn't ask for help when his owner went into hospice. He and his doggy siblings were left to fend for themselves. Rickey may not be a coonhound or basset but he is absolutely the definition of a Helpless Hound. He been through so much in his 4 years, and has never known what it's like just be a dog. UNTIL NOW. Here's to you Rickey, and your new life. We are here to make sure you get to live every day to the fullest. We will make sure you know that you will be clean, fed, and have a warm home to rest your head in. We will take care of you everyday until your new family comes along. And we promise to remind you, every single day, just how special you are. This animal has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Now, he is prepared for his forever home!

Story
Allow us to introduce Jed, the gentlest and most endearing Beagle mix you'll ever meet. His journey began when he was discovered as a stray, all alone on the streets with nowhere to go. Luckily someone picked him up, and he found his way into our care. Jed is a sweet soul who LOVES people and other animals. He will go right up to a stranger and wrap his arms around their neck in a warm embrace. This lovely gentleman is incredibly undemanding, needing only a quick trip outside for potty breaks before happily returning indoors. Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, Jed is ready to embark on his next chapter with a family who will cherish his gentle spirit. Could your home be the one he's been waiting for? He is patiently awaiting the chance to bring his quiet love and easy companionship into a forever home.

Story
Bria is a very sweet and timid 3 year old Australian shepherd/husky mix. She was mistreated and had to be trapped along with her litter of puppies. She is very shy with people especially men and probably due to her mistreatment, she is leery of being touched  but does like a back scratch every now and then. Bria LOVES other dogs, that's where her confidence comes out. She gets along with any adult dog, male or female, big or small but is not a fan of puppies. Some being in a home, she has learned to come when called, crates on command, walks well on a leash and appears to be housebroken. Bria is a funny, sweet girl that just needs a chance with a patient person who has a friendly, accepting dog and room for her to run off her energy! Carerescueok.org ##2013911##
