Available in TX Meet Louise, the lovable Collie mix with a heart as vast as the Texas sky. Rescued from uncertainty, Louise's story is one of resilience and affection. Her gentle nature shines through in her unwavering love for people; she craves affection and thrives on human touch. But it's not just people she adores-her heart extends to every canine companion she meets, finding joy in playful romps and tail-wagging friendships. Louise's loyalty knows no bounds; she sticks close to her family, her unwavering devotion evident in her excellent recall skills. House and kennel trained, she's a model of canine etiquette. Yet, her past shadows linger, and she seeks solace in the company of other dogs, finding comfort and confidence in their presence. Her journey to healing is ongoing, as she learns to navigate the world she was once isolated from as a puppy. Long hours confined would dampen her spirits, but with the warmth of a loving family and the companionship of other furry friends, she blossoms. Currently fostering in the heart of Seguin, Texas, Louise awaits a forever home where her sweet soul can truly shine, reminding us all of the transformative power of love and second chances. She is house-trained, microchipped, fully vaccinated, & spayed. She is being fostered in Seguin, TX and is ready for her new home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Leonard is an approximately 1-2 yo., 51 lbs. McNab Collie. He's initially shy but warms up quickly and turns into the sweetest most loving dog. Leonard is simply awesome. He's potty and crate trained and walks nicely on leash. He has learned basic commands and the 'place" command quickly. He does awesome with friendly small and large dogs and loves to play but is not over the top. He has met our kitty and was very friendly and actually tried to engage her in some play. We think Leonard would do well with respectful children. He is a medium energy dog and would make a perfect companion. He does not have the traits of a working dog. He loves his walks and running off leash in the yard but also checks in with his handler and comes up for pets and snuggles. Leonard is truly wonderful and anyone will be lucky to have him. We would love a home for him that keeps up his training and provides him with the guidance and structure all dogs need to thrive. Leonard is special and we're looking for a great home for him. His adoption fee is $500. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We post several videos of our adoptable dogs on our YouTube page https://youtube.com/@thewallflowersshineproject1845?si=1xL4gNyZ1N9ivEOy and have switched from social media to a FREE patreon account https://www.patreon.com/c/WallflowersmeetPackwithPurposeK9?utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
June is super smart, eager to please, is very attentive to her people. She loves to learn, and is very athletic. She loves other dogs. Loves chasing a ball or frisbee. She has great recall. Whether out in a field or on the beach when you call for June she will come. She is leash trained and loves walking and hiking. When passing people on the trail I say "heel" and she comes and walks beside me. When walking in the neighborhood I tell her "this side" and she looks at me to determine where I am going, and I say "wait" and she waits at the corner and doesn't cross the road until I say "ok". She is a super smart cattle dog mix. She is slow to warm up to new people. And needs to greet you on her terms. Though if you already have a dog she warms up much quicker. She would love to live in a home with property or on a farm. She is She sometimes get anxious, but we believe this has to do with not having space to run and get her energy out. When she gets her energy out she is calm and content.
