Story
Chica is a 7-month-old, 29-pound Collie mix with a sweet and gentle nature. She’s incredibly quiet—we’ve yet to hear her bark, just an occasional soft whimper. She does wonderfully in her crate overnight, staying dry and settling in comfortably. At this stage, about six hours in the crate during the day may be her limit. She is housebroken and will go to the door when she needs to go out, especially once she’s found her favorite outdoor spot. Like any puppy, she’s still in the chewing phase, so sturdy toys are best (no stuffed toys for this girl!). She loves playing with a rubber ball and will happily drop it at your feet for another throw—again and again. When you’re ready for a break, she’ll even entertain herself. Chica is very affectionate and, even when she jumps up to greet you, she’s gentle and loving. She has lots of energy and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and possibly another playful dog to help her burn it off. She doesn't willingly settle outside of her crate, so an active family would be ideal. She’s doing well on a leash, though she hasn’t had extensive walking experience yet. She can be shy at first, but she does warm up quickly. Chica is a loving, energetic pup who’s ready to bring joy, play, and plenty of tail wags to her forever home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and will be available for adoption 3/8/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA 15144 KL# 16182. ##2672898##
