Meet Rusty! Rusty is a Collie / Great Pyrenees mix who came to us from another local rescue and is still very much a big puppy—estimated to be somewhere between 6 months and 1 year old. Currently around 60 lbs, Rusty will likely continue to grow and fill out into a large, impressive adult. Rusty is extremely friendly and full of love. He’s so happy to see people that he’ll jump up for hugs—and at his size, he can be almost as tall as you when he does! Because of this, he’ll need continued training and guidance to help him learn good manners, but he’s sweet, eager, and absolutely wants to learn. He’s open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested, and would do best with older kids, as his size and enthusiasm may be too much for little ones.
