Story
Lucy is a gentle, sweet Border Collie mix who is about 9–10 years old. We adopted her from a shelter near Pittsburgh about eight years ago, and she has been a calm and loyal companion ever since. Lucy is a very mild-mannered dog who rarely barks and has never shown any aggression. She has grown up around our three children and has always been incredibly patient and tolerant. Lucy is a low-energy dog who prefers relaxing to running or playing. She would do best in a quiet home where someone is around more often to give her the attention and companionship she deserves. Due to our family’s increasingly busy schedule with work and kids’ activities, we are not home enough to provide the time and consistency she needs. Lucy is generally healthy and affectionate, and she would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, easygoing dog to share their home with.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Joker 🐾 Don’t let the name fool you — Joker is all heart. This 10-week-old Border Collie/ Australian Cattle Dog mix is a gentle, sensitive little guy with a soft, soulful personality. He’s much more “thoughtful collie” than “rowdy heeler,” preferring connection and cuddles over chaos. Joker can be a tiny bit shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, his sweet nature really shines. He warms up quickly and becomes your quiet little shadow, happily following you around and soaking up every bit of affection. He’s the kind of puppy who looks at you like you’re his whole world. He’s smart, observant, and eager to learn — classic border collie brain — and would thrive in a calm, loving home that helps him build confidence and gives him lots of reassurance and snuggles. He enjoys playtime and exploring, but his overall energy is gentle and easygoing. We expect him to be around 35 lbs full grown, making him the perfect size for both adventures and couch time. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted best friend who will bond deeply and stick by your side, Joker is ready to be your little sidekick. 🤍 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this deserving lil fella the forever home he’s been waiting for 💛🐾

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Kaylee 🐾 Kaylee may be tiny, but don’t tell her that — she’s absolutely convinced she runs the world. This 10-week-old Border Collie × Australian Cattle Dog mix is bursting with confidence, brains, and pure puppy sparkle. She’s bold, outgoing, and always the first to dive into whatever adventure is happening. New toy? Hers. New sound? Investigating. Siblings napping? Time to wake them up and party. She’s got that classic cattle dog grit paired with border collie smarts, which means she’s quick to learn, highly observant, and already showing signs of being one clever little problem solver. She’s playful, energetic, and endlessly entertaining — equal parts athlete and comedian. Kaylee is wonderfully social and full of personality, with just the right amount of bossy “supervisor” energy that makes everyone laugh. We expect her to be about 35 lbs full grown — the perfect size for hiking, training, road trips, or an active lifestyle. Because of her working-breed mix, she’ll thrive in a home ready to keep her mind and body busy with training, games, and lots of engagement. In return, you’ll get the most loyal, fun-loving sidekick you could ask for. If you’re ready for a smart, spunky best friend who will keep life exciting, Kaylee is your girl. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this deserving girl the forever home she’s been waiting for 💛🐾

Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Layla 🐾 If you’re looking for a shadow with four paws and the sweetest little heart, Layla is your girl. This 10-week-old Border Collie × Australian Cattle Dog mix leans much more toward her collie side — gentle, sensitive, and incredibly people-focused. While her sister may be the bossy adventurer, Layla is the snuggler, the observer, the one who just wants to be close to you. She’s happiest curled up at your feet, following you from room to room, or soaking up all the pets she can get. Layla bonds deeply with her humans and has that soft, loyal nature that makes border collies so special. Don’t worry — she’s still a puppy! She loves to play and explore, but her energy is a bit more easygoing and thoughtful. She’s smart, eager to learn, and very in tune with her people, which will make training a breeze. We expect her to be around 35 lbs full grown — the perfect medium size for adventures, road trips, and couch cuddles alike. She’ll thrive in a home that wants a close companion and understands the needs of an intelligent working-breed mix. If you want a gentle, affectionate best friend who will stick by your side through everything, Layla is ready to be your little heart dog. 🤍 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this deserving girl the forever home she’s been waiting for 💛🐾
