Story
Meet Lobo! 🖤 At just 8 months old and 30 pounds, Lobo is a sleek, handsome Labrador/Smooth Collie blend with a smile that will melt your heart and a brain to match! He's the complete package—the 4 S's: Sleek, Smart, Submissive, and Smiling! Lobo is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn. He has a gentle, sweet nature and is the kind of dog who quietly wins your heart. His happy smile says it all—he's just grateful for a chance at a better life. Lobo came from a heartbreaking situation where he lived in a backyard with many other dogs and was often picked on by the others. We're so thankful he's safe now. Thinking about what could have happened to this wonderful boy brings tears to our eyes, but those days are behind him. Now it's Lobo's turn to discover what it means to be truly loved. He's ready for a family who will cherish his gentle spirit, build his confidence, and show him that home is a place where he will always be safe. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, incredibly smart companion with a heart as beautiful as his smile, Lobo is waiting to meet you.

Story
Meet Venus, a stellar, sweet, and confident pup ready to be the center of your universe! A clever mix of Collie smarts and Chihuahua charm, this "Velcro" girl thrives on human and canine companionship. Whether she’s pouncing on toys, like her big brown teddy, wrestling with friends, like her foster siblings, or snuggling for belly rubs, Venus is always up for an adventure! Venus is doing great with crate and potty training and is a wonderful sleeper. She is moderately active, very curious, and loves to explore. She’s currently perfecting her coordination and mastering leash walking (she loves riding in a stroller!). As a puppy, Venus plays hard, but sleeps even HARDER. Her foster notes, "She does the cutest thing! She comes to wake you up with a gentle yawn and will repeat it about 3 to 4 times until she hears you get out of bed. Then, her tail starts wagging so hard it taps the kennel." Venus is ALWAYS eager to show off her affectionate, joyful personality, and while she loves to be near her people, she is also a resilient little explorer who is confident and brave. Venus is ready to leave the cosmos behind and find her permanent home base. Are you the one to launch her on her biggest adventure yet? Apply to meet Venus today and prepare for a lifetime of love and joy!

Story
Reese came to us as an owner turn. He was a Christmas present to children and shortly after showed up at the ER with a broken leg. When the owners could not afford to fix it they were going to euthanize him. The staff at the clinic couldn't have that and contacted us. Once out of his medical foster home he came to our shelter and now awaits his second chance. He is a very active boy, loves to play with toys, plays fetch and does well with other dogs, he does love his belly rubs and giving kisses. His leg is completely healed and not expected to have any issues in the future. If interested in adopting Reese please email us for an application.

Story
This sweet girl was pulled from a high kill shelter with her sister right before the cold weather hit. The facility reached out to us and we couldn't say no. A cold kennel was no place for a 7 lb puppy. The girls are so sweet and affectionate, they love toys and love to snuggle. Aspen loves her belly rubbed while she lies in your lap. She is also a very active little girl and would make a great companion for that active person. But she promises to be a couch potato as needed too. Aspen can be a bit shy with new people, but she is very loyal and gentle. If interested in meeting Aspen please email us.

Story
This sweet boy was pulled from death row at animal control. He and his sister didn't have much time left. Vinnie has a very kind personality, skittish at first but will warm up when he gets to know you. He is a bit frightened of being touched or held so you just have to work with his terms. He will allow affection, but on his terms and when he is in the mood. We assume he did not receive much affection or care, if at all, but he still is just waiting on his forever home to love. Vinnie does like other dogs, loves toys, seems to be crate trained a bit. Vinnie is a great boy, with so much potential in the right home, he would probably do best in a quiet home without small children and he IS a flight risk, and will need an experience adopter. We hope that you will give him a chance.
