She greets every day with a wagging tail, a playful bounce, and a whole lot of affection to share. Whether she's zooming around the yard, soaking up belly rubs, or trying to fit her growing puppy body into your lap, Willa's goal is simple: to make you smile. She’s the perfect combination of playful puppy energy and loving companion, and she's ready to leave her past behind and find a family who will cherish her forever. Welcome Kai to CCPAL Rescue foster program.  Kai is a very sweet girl, she is just about 1 year old. She is a German Shepherd/Smooth Collie (BorderCollie)  She weighs about 60 pounds and should stay medium sized.  She is good on a leash, good with other dogs.  She is mostly with her sister in her foster home.  She uses a doggy door and is good on leash and in a car.  She is fully potty trained and very smart.  She is good with children and likes toys.  She would be best with someone that is active and outdoorsy.  She would be fine as an only dog or would be good with another dog.  She will be a fun one to train.  She has good eye contact and attention to who is speaking with her.  She has one upright ear and one that is not.  She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed and ready for her forever home.  She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.  She would be a great family companion and could go with children.  We like children to be 8 or older.  Please be patient when you put in your application. Adoption fee for Kia is $400 and transport is $200.  This is a very desirable breed mix.   We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Thanks to the dedication of Kerrville Pets Alive, Gypsy received the surgery and chemotherapy she needed—and today, she’s happy, healthy, and absolutely thriving. Gypsy is as sweet as they come. She does great with other dogs and loves having playmates to romp around with. One of her favorite things in the world is playing fetch—she’ll happily chase a ball and bring it back again and again with pure joy. She’s also housebroken, affectionate, and loves to cuddle up with her people after a good play session. Gypsy has been through so much, but you’d never know it—her spirit is bright, resilient, and full of love. Now all she needs is a forever home where she can continue to enjoy the life she fought so hard for. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE.
