Story
This sweet girl was pulled from a high kill shelter with her sister right before the cold weather hit. The facility reached out to us and we couldn't say no. A cold kennel is no place for a 7 lb puppy. The girls are so sweet and affectionate, they love toys and love to snuggle. Aspen loves her belly rubbed but is also a very active little girl and will keep you on your toes, but she promises to be a couch potato as needed too. Aspen can be a bit shy with new people, but would make a great, loyal companion. If interested in meeting Aspen please email us.

Story
This sweet boy was pulled from death row at animal control. He and his sister didn't have much time left. Vinnie has a very kind personality, skittish at first but will warm up when he gets to know you. He is a bit frightened of being touched or held so you just have to work with his terms. He will allow affection, but on his terms and when he is in the mood. We assume he did not receive much affection or care, if at all, but he still is just waiting on his forever home to love. Vinnie does like other dogs, loves toys, seems to be crate trained a bit. Vinnie is a great boy, with so much potential in the right home, he would probably do best in a quiet home without small children and he IS a flight risk, and will need an experience adopter. We hope that you will give him a chance.

Meet Tatiana! 🌟This stunning 2-year-old, 40-pound Carolina Dog/Cattle Dog mix is ready to start a new chapter—and she’s hoping it’s with you! With her graceful frame and regal features, we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a little Pharaoh Hound in her lineage too. (We’d love if her future family did a DNA test and shared the results!) Tatiana was rescued just in time with her puppies when their time was up at the shelter. She was a devoted mama, and now that her pups are weaned and thriving, it’s finally her turn to be doted on. She’s gentle, loving, and friendly with everyone she meets—dogs and humans alike! Tatiana loves playing and romping with her doggy friends but also has a calm, sweet side that makes her the perfect companion. Ready to give a deserving mama the happily-ever-after she’s earned? WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. 🐾 Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Meet Millie — Empty Nest, Full Heart, Ready for Adventure Millie is a 2-year-old Blue Lacy / Miniature Pinscher mix, weighing 25 pounds of pure awesomeness, and she has officially entered her “me time” era. She’s done her duty, raised her puppies (her last litter ever — mission accomplished), sent them off to their forever homes, and is now ready to enjoy the sweet freedom of the empty nest. Cue the road trips and couch snuggles. 🚗🛋️ Found as a stray (still a mystery because… how??), Millie somehow came equipped with excellent house manners. She’s fully potty trained, walks like a dream on leash, gets along great with other dogs, and she knows exactly when it’s time to go-go-go and when it’s time to curl up and relax. Millie has energy for adventures and enthusiasm for life — but she’s not chaotic. She’s the kind of dog who’s always up for hiking, exploring, errands, or just being your shadow, then happily settles in for snuggle duty after a full day. Balanced. Polished. Professional companion. 🚗 Important Skill Set: Millie rides shotgun like a seasoned co-pilot — calm, confident, and fully committed to the journey. Windows down, ears flapping, living her best life. 🐕 Millie’s “Finally It’s My Turn” Resume: ✔️ 2 years old, 25 lbs ✔️ Potty trained with stellar house manners ✔️ Great with other dogs ✔️ Walks beautifully on leash ✔️ Active, affectionate, and loves to snuggle ✔️ Sweet, gentle, and not overly hyper ✔️ Cats unknown ✔️ Kids unknown, but likely great given her loving nature ✔️ Former super-mom, now proudly retired Millie is looking for a home where she can fully enjoy this next chapter — one filled with activity, companionship, freedom, and love. She’s done the hard work. Now she just wants to be someone’s best friend. If you’re searching for a dog who’s ready to adventure by day, snuggle buddy by night, and lives life to the fullest — Millie is ready to ride...straight into your heart and home!! 🐾💛
