Story
Hi there, I'm Yoder! I'm a 17-week-old male australian shepherd/collie mix. I am current on my vaccines, microchipped, and soon to be neutered. 3 words that describe me: Athletic, Affectionate, Curious Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I have lots of energy and love running around outside with my sister Beiler. My signature move is rolling over and showing you my belly for belly rubs. I do it all the time! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8/10 Housetraining Status: I am a puppy so I am working on it! I should do well in a home: I should do well with other dogs and children of all ages given proper supervision. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Running around, eating yummy snacks, and getting lots of belly rubs! Things I need work on are: I am a puppy so I will need to work on my housetraining, basic commands, and walking on leash. Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: N/A Daycare Status: N/A My adoption fee is: $350 Training Requirement if applicable: $100 deposit *If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal

Story
COURTESY POST - This dog is NOT in our shelter. Please see contact information for her owners below. We have owned Penny for about 18 months; but she needs training and consistency to become a productive member of society. She has confidence issues that I am confident can be addressed with training and in the right environment; my family is unable to provide that training; thus we are looking to rehome her.     Penny was born December 27th 2023 and was a rescue from an Amish farm in the wider Wisconsin Dells area; she is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. She loves the outdoors, chasing deer and turkeys, but also enjoys being indoors and with her human pets. She finds joy in taking walks with her owners. She is great with our children.     She is very smart and has learned the basic commands of sit, stay, down (lie down) and shake. She is an outdoor/indoor dog and is house trained as well as crate trained.    My wife Meredith and I can be contacted at the phone numbers below for those interested in taking Penny to be a member of their family. Thanks for your assistance; it is greatly appreciated!Best Regards,David and Meredith Moseley608-387-1336 (David)414-303-0308 (Meredith

Story
*I am an extended stay friend here at the shelter therefore my adoption fee has been reduced to $150* Hello, my name is Wysco! I'm a 4-year-old female border collie/great pyrenees mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Enthusiastic, Playful, Affectionate Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: Are you looking for an outgoing girl to accompany you? Do you like playful dogs with lots of energy? If so then I'm your girl! I love playing with all kinds of toys and running around outside. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6 or 7/10 Housetraining Status: I have been very good at keeping my kennel clean, however it may take me some time to adjust to the schedule in my new home. I should do well in a home: I like having all the attention I can get, so I will need to be the only dog in the household. I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: I love running around outside and playing with toys! When I've had enough of that I love affection from my humans. Things I need work on are: Basic Commands and leash walking Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "Wysco was very social and very curious about everything. She handled other people and kids very well. She is such a lovebug and continuously wanted pets anytime we weren’t actively moving. Overall, such a sweet girl!" "Wysco did fantastic on our day out! She was very excited and calm while meeting new people. We didn’t bark or pull towards any other dogs that were nearby. She liked to dip her paws in the shallow water and was so good walking on leash. Overall, she’d be great for someone who wants to spoil a good girl!" "Wysco is such a sweetheart and well-behaved. She absolutely loves hugs and kisses! She did great on several walks and in various environments. She also did great in the car! She can sit, shake, down on command. Very good listener! She was very curious about other animals and humans! She will be so happy to have a home! She has lots of hair and sheds quite a bit so regular brushing, lint roller, and a good vacuum will be important. ;) This girl has so much love to give, and we would keep her if we could!" "Wysco was a very sweet girl who loved to cuddle and get pets. She is very friendly and showed interest in people that walked by. She is a very polite and calm girl! She did great in the car, and was super excited to explore new places. She did pull quite a bit on the leash, especially when wildlife ran by. She is, however, very good at responding to her name which helped her stay on track!" "Wysco did well on her doggy day out. She needs a little work on leash manners. She is very social and wants to be pet by everyone and does not bark. She is very food motivated and does her tricks for treats. We discovered that she likes belly rubs! She will catch her treats and is very affectionate." "Everything about Wysco’s profile and DDO reviews are spot on. She is extremely affectionate and very welcoming to new people! She did well in a car, overall did good with commands, and some slight leash tugging on our walk from mostly just random smells. She is indeed playful with toys, loves belly rubs, and would be a great fit for any family!"
