Story
??? Classic Collie Beauty Alert — Meet Chloe! ???Chloe is a gorgeous 5-year-old rough coated collie searching for a forever family to call her own! With her beautiful flowing coat, gentle personality, and sweet nature, this lovely lady is ready to win over some hearts. ????Chloe has just arrived with us, so we are still learning more about her personality and preferences, but here’s what we know so far:?? Very sweet and affectionate?? Walks nicely on a leash?? Good with cats?? Crate trained and enjoys relaxing in her crateAt this time, we are still unsure how Chloe feels about other dogs as she settles in and decompresses. She does have food aggression, so she will need to be separated during feeding times. The good news? It is very manageable, and she does wonderfully being fed in her crate where she feels safe and comfortable. ???Chloe would love a family willing to give her patience, structure, and lots of love as she settles into her new life. In return, you’ll get a loyal, beautiful companion ready to be by your side. ??If you think Chloe could be your perfect match, please fill out our pre-adoption form atwww.northwoodshumanesociety.orgAlready approved? Give us a call Monday–Friday from 11–3 to schedule an appointment to meet Chloe! ????

Story
COURTESY POST - This dog is NOT in our shelter. Please see contact information for her owners below. We have owned Penny for about 18 months; but she needs training and consistency to become a productive member of society. She has confidence issues that I am confident can be addressed with training and in the right environment; my family is unable to provide that training; thus we are looking to rehome her.     Penny was born December 27th 2023 and was a rescue from an Amish farm in the wider Wisconsin Dells area; she is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. She loves the outdoors, chasing deer and turkeys, but also enjoys being indoors and with her human pets. She finds joy in taking walks with her owners. She is great with our children.     She is very smart and has learned the basic commands of sit, stay, down (lie down) and shake. She is an outdoor/indoor dog and is house trained as well as crate trained.    My wife Meredith and I can be contacted at the phone numbers below for those interested in taking Penny to be a member of their family. Thanks for your assistance; it is greatly appreciated!Best Regards,David and Meredith Moseley608-387-1336 (David)414-303-0308 (Meredith

Story
Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info!   ***I am able to go home to my forever family right from transport!! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on June 5th and arrive on June 6th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 5/10/26 Dog Name: John Snow Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Collie/Lab Mix Approximate Age: 18 Weeks Approximate Weight: 27-30 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Not Yet (Too Young) Description: John Snow is a sweet pup who was found in a small town looking for a hero! He has a beautiful yellow coat, he is sweet and playful. We believe he will stay a good medium size likely between 35-40lbs fully grown. He’s such a pretty puppy with eyes that will capture your heart!     Adoption Fee: $650We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. May 25, 2026, 2:22 am

Story
I have a breeding pair of 6 year old AKC rough collies with papers. My living situation has changed and l can no longer keep these two wonderful dogs. They have successfully had two litters of 10 and 12 puppies. Solstice, the female, is a great mom to the puppies. I would like to keep them together because they have always been together and are well suited for each other.. .I am hoping to find the right people and place for them to be relocated to. Come and meet them. 715-787-3424

Story
⚖️ JUSTICE- the concept of being fair, right, and treating everyone equally‼️ HEEEEEYYY THAT’S MEEE ‼️👋 Hi there, my ‘official’ name is Justice; while the definition definitely suits me, I’m ready for a new name and zip code 🤭🐶 I am a 4 month old, healthy 25ish# fella. My mama is a beautiful Collie mix however my dad is a bit of a mystery… That just means I’m 100% unique! Chances are I’ll be a medium- large boy when fully grown🐾 I’ve been doing SUPER in my foster home…✨ I sleep through the night✨ I keep my crate clean and dry✨ I potty outside- when taken out on a schedule✨ I’m good with other dogs and learning lots from them✨ I’m young enough to learn cats = friends✨ Good with children📚 What I’m still working on…I am still a puppy, so I’m in the process of learning my house manners. I sometimes need to be reminded of what I can and cannot chew on and that I cannot put my paws on tables/counter; however I am learning ‘off’ and ‘leave it’ like a champ! 🏆🩵 My Personality🔺 Professional snuggler (especially tucked in your neck)🔺 Certified sweet- kisser giver🔺 Lover of belly rubs🔺 Big fan of soft beds and cozy blankets🔺 Occasionally performs adorable bed- flopping acrobatics👀 I’m looking for my furrever family who will keep teaching me, love me, and laugh at my goofy moments along the way🐾 Still searching for my happily ever after … could it be with you? 🐾Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at https://www.sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt. You can find information for volunteering and donations on our site as well.
