Hello, my name is Tilly. I recently came to the animal shelter because I wasn't quite the right fit for my previous home. I am a sweet and affectionate dog who loves most people I meet. I enjoy cuddling and being close to my humans. I haven't met many other dogs, but I believe I would enjoy having a canine companion, and I think cats are quite nice as well. I do tend to guard my food, so a home without children under ten would be ideal for me. This behavior could be improved with training and patience. At some point, I felt that guarding my food was necessary for survival. If I lived with another dog, I would likely need to be fed separately. I am eager to meet my new family, so if you are interested in adopting me, please visit the shelter.All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $175 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $250, and dogs over the age of 10 are $85. Adult cat adoption fees are $50, kittens under one year are $120, and cats over the age of 10 are $35.
