Story
Meet Ranger! Ranger is approximately 7 months old and is thought to be heinz-57 mix! He's roughly 45lbs and has qualities of a possible terrier and/or herding breed type, but we cannot know for sure without a DNA test.Ranger came to us from another rescue organization that helped pull him from an overcrowded shelter. We are still learning about him every day, but so far he's one of the sweetest lil guys and we think he'd fit in to almost any fun & active family!Ranger is crate trained, but because he's still a puppy we encourage his adopters to continue helping him learn the new potty routine, as it will obviously be much different than in a shelter. He is friendly with strangers and should do well around other pets & children as long as everyone is properly introduced & supervised. In fact, we're sure he'd LOVE to have a doggy playmate in his new home!Ranger's ideal family would be one who is looking to provide love and guidance to a puppy learning the ropes, as well as someone who is active & involved, and wants to include him in all kinds of new things! He may be hesitant at first, especially since he's been through so much change in such a short amount of time, but we know he'll settle in quickly with lots of love!We are doing all meet n' greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after an adoption application has been approved:https://monroecountydogshelter.com/apply-adopt.htmlRanger is fully vetted & neutered. His adoption fee is$200.

Story
COURTESY POST - This dog is NOT in our shelter. Please see contact information for her owners below. We have owned Penny for about 18 months; but she needs training and consistency to become a productive member of society. She has confidence issues that I am confident can be addressed with training and in the right environment; my family is unable to provide that training; thus we are looking to rehome her.     Penny was born December 27th 2023 and was a rescue from an Amish farm in the wider Wisconsin Dells area; she is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. She loves the outdoors, chasing deer and turkeys, but also enjoys being indoors and with her human pets. She finds joy in taking walks with her owners. She is great with our children.     She is very smart and has learned the basic commands of sit, stay, down (lie down) and shake. She is an outdoor/indoor dog and is house trained as well as crate trained.    My wife Meredith and I can be contacted at the phone numbers below for those interested in taking Penny to be a member of their family. Thanks for your assistance; it is greatly appreciated!Best Regards,David and Meredith Moseley608-387-1336 (David)414-303-0308 (Meredith

Story
Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! Updated: 6/10/26 Dog Name: John Snow Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Collie/Lab Mix Approximate Age: 5 months Approximate Weight: 30 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Description:  John Snow was found wandering in a small Texas town, and now he's searching for his forever family in Wisconsin! John Snow is a gorgeous puppy with a beautiful golden/yellow coat and the kind of eyes that will capture your heart instantly! This handsome boy is the perfect companion for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between.   He has the sweetest personality. He's incredibly affectionate and gives the very best puppy kisses! While he enjoys playtime, he's also a remarkably chill and easygoing pup who loves spending time with his people. Some of his favorite things are his tennis balls and rolling around in the grass.   This smart boy is already impressing everyone with his manners! He is house-trained and has not had a single accident in the house. He's also crate-trained and sleeps peacefully through the entire night in his crate without any whining. John Snow takes treats gently, walks nicely on a leash, and is eager to continue learning! John Snow absolutely loves other dogs and plays nicely! He's also wonderful with kids and enjoys being part of the family fun.   If you're looking for a sweet, playful, well-mannered puppy with a heart of gold, John Snow may be the perfect addition to your family!   Adoption Fee: $650We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. June 14, 2026, 9:35 pm
