Hi there, Jag here! 🐾I’m a handsome 3-year-old Shepherd/Hound mix weighing about 59 lbs—and yes, I love a good sniff (what can I say… I am a dog!).I recently made my way to Canine Collective from West Virginia, and while all of this is still a little new to me, I’m settling in more each day. I can be a bit shy at first as I adjust to new surroundings, but with a little time and patience, my sweet personality really starts to shine. I’ve already made a great impression on the humans here—especially the vet staff, who said I’m a very handsome and healthy boy (I agree with them 😄). I even attended an adoption event and did great—taking it all in stride and showing everyone what a good boy I am.One of my favorite things? Getting outside and exploring. I recently spent some time with a volunteer who said I was a very good boy—and I had a blast sniffing everything along the way. I’d love a home where I can enjoy walks, outdoor time, and maybe even some hiking adventures.  If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to settle in, I could be your guy.
