Story
Currently in a Vancouver foster home 🐾 Hello, I’m Bombom — a gentle boy ready for a brand-new beginning. I’m a Welsh Corgi–Spitz mix boy, about 7.2kg, with a small but sturdy body and soft white fur that everyone notices right away. People say I have a cozy, comforting look — the kind that makes you want to smile when you see me. In February 2024, I was rescued from a place where dogs were being slaughtered. Three of us were saved that day… and I am one of the lucky ones. Because of where I came from, people worried I might be afraid of humans. But surprisingly, I’m not. I love people — truly. If you call my name, I’ll trot over with my tail wagging, hoping for affection. I enjoy attention and I have a sweet, gentle heart that just wants to be loved. I get along naturally with other dogs and have a calm, easygoing social nature. I’m also great on walks — steady, relaxed, and lovely to walk beside. Being outdoors with someone I trust feels peaceful and happy. I’m more than ready to be cared for, cherished, and loved. Now, I’m waiting for a forever family who can give me a safe, warm place to spend the rest of my life. Please give a new beginning to a soft-hearted boy like me — a boy with fur as white and gentle as his heart. 🤍🌿 With love, Bombom 🐶

Story
Nancy is a 6kg female Welsh Corgi–Jindo mix. With her short legs and fluffy coat, she’s an irresistibly charming girl who brings a smile the moment you see her. Nancy was rescued just in time from the euthanasia list and is now preparing for a brand-new life while patiently waiting for her forever family. Despite everything she’s been through, she has an incredibly gentle and calm nature. She is so quiet that we have rarely, if ever, heard her bark, and her heart toward people is truly beautiful. She tends to prefer humans over other dogs and has a naturally calm, well-mannered personality without being overly excitable. After going for a walk, Nancy is the type of dog who relaxes peacefully at home, staying close by her person and enjoying quiet companionship. She is still in the process of learning household potty training, but because she is so sweet, stable, and eager to please, she is expected to learn well with patient and consistent guidance. In unfamiliar environments, Nancy may appear a little shy at first. However, once she feels safe, she begins to approach on her own, showing affection and soon following her person everywhere. When Nancy opens her heart to someone, she builds deep trust and stays by their side with quiet devotion. For anyone looking for a calm, affectionate, and gentle companion, Nancy would make a truly lifelong friend. She is now waiting for a family who can offer her not uncertainty, but a warm home and a simple, happy everyday life filled with love.

Story
Hi, my name is Eunsong 🤍🐾 I’m a female Mini Jindo–Welsh Corgi mix, about 3 years old, and I weigh around 13kg (29 lbs). With my short little legs and round, sturdy body, people often find themselves smiling the moment they see me. I’m gentle, calm, and affectionate — the kind of dog who feels like she was born to be someone’s perfect companion. I truly love people and get along well with other dogs too. When you pet me, I’ll happily roll over and show you my belly, asking for more love. I express affection easily, and because I trust people and stay calm, I naturally help others feel relaxed and comfortable from our very first meeting — like a small angel quietly walking into your life. I’m also wonderful on walks. I don’t pull on the leash, and even in new environments, I walk confidently while enjoying my surroundings. I’m not easily frightened, so I adapt fairly quickly to unfamiliar places, making every walk peaceful and enjoyable. I was rescued from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia and spent time in a foster home, where I learned what family life feels like. Later, due to changes in circumstances, I moved to a training center. Thanks to my previous home experience, I adjusted to the new environment relatively quickly, and I continue to get along well with both people and other dogs here. While potty routines may not have been perfectly maintained in shelter or training environments, I have lived in a home before. With my future family, I’m expected to quickly settle back into a steady daily routine. My ideal family is one who gives love generously, values quiet companionship, and is ready to warmly continue a shared life at home with me. If I meet that family, I promise to give back unwavering trust, a deep sense of comfort and stability, and endless love 🤍

Story
Hello, everyone!  I'm a vibrant 3-ish year old corgi mix and my name is Beene, affectionately known as Benny Boy by humans.  I can't stop smiling since I arrived in Canada in December 2023!  I have been fortunate to live with caring foster families who've helped me settle into my new life.  As a special-needs dog requiring diapers/belly bands for indoors, I am looking for an understanding and patient a person/family able to commit to my long-term care.  I'm a lively pup with lots of energy, endless love to give, and excitement for what is to come!  Breed: Corgi/Canaan DogAge: 3.5 yrsGender: MaleWeight: 45 lbsEnergy Level: moderateCountry of origin: Middle East                                                                                                                                                                                       Highlight(s): Special needs, energetic, affectionate, gentle                                                                                                                                                                                  Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoption fee is by donation.  Ideal home - Caring and patient human(s) understanding of his incontinence and able to change belly bands/diapers. Benny's story - Born in a small village in the Middle East, Benny’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. At just one month old, he was found whimpering alone under a tree. With his mother and littermates nowhere to be found. A kind human brought him to a shelter, where he spent 1.5 years sharing a small space with other dogs. Despite the challenges, Benny’s resilience and sweet personality shone through, eventually earning him a ticket to a new life in British Columbia. Benny has met several foster families who've cared for him deeply, and where he had the opportunity to live with other dogs, which he got along very well with.  Personality - Benny is a true sweetheart who lives for human affection. He’s known for gently placing his paw on your arm or leg as if to say, “It’s time for pets!” His soulful eyes are guaranteed to melt your heart. Though Benny can be a little timid when meeting new humans (especially men), he warms up quickly with patience and kindness. In fact, his current male foster won him over in just five minutes! Benny is a fast learner, eager to please, and very food-motivated, making training a breeze. He’s gentle, has no resource guarding, and is great with kids.Benny thrives in the company of playful canine friends and would love a home with another dog or access to regular dog park outings. He does not have any documented separation anxiety so he is fine to be left alone for a few hours. Special Needs - Benny’s incontinence issue is likely neurological (undiagnosed). He signals when he needs to go outside for bowel movements but struggles with bladder control; managed indoors with belly bands. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal to provide him space to run, play, and explore while making bathroom breaks easier for everyone.                               Fears: Some loud noises such as busy traffic can spook Benny. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Energy Level: moderate I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknown (has been cautiously curious from a distance)Kids: yes Training: understands and responds to his name.  Knows a few basic commands.  Please help me learn!Leash skills: some.  Please be prepared to train me/continue training.House trained: No. Incontinence problems.  Typically signals at the door when needing to release bowels. Meet Victor❤️ 💙 Victor's News Account: @jjamooong._ 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, dental scaling completed, and completely recovered from heartworm. * Due to a small fracture in her right molars and tartar buildup, special care is taken to brush her teeth. * To help improve her walking posture, she wears a CoBan wrap during walks. * Her paw pads are weak, so you have to bandage them or mind her step when going for a walk. 2.) Rescue Story * Victor was rescued by an Adogs volunteer while she was tied up tightly in a gravel lot. When found, she had clearly been neglected for a long time — food that had gone bad was piled next to her, and she looked frightened. But as soon as she felt safe, she wagged her tail and approached. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Might bark briefly when strangers visit, but this has improved recently. Wags her tail and asks for petting when she meets strangers during walks. Even acts cute if children come up to her and cuddles her, as long as they don’t approach suddenly and in an aggressive manner. With familiar people, she happily flops over for belly rubs. Loves cuddling close to people. If you come home, she will hurry out to welcome you warmly. * With Dogs: Gets along well with her foster family’s dog and even sleeps beside them. Previously, she got overstimulated when seeing other dogs on walks but through training, she now calms down quickly and focuses on treats. Growls at first when she meets a dog at a dog friendly cafe, but stays still when they keep their distance. Is possessive of toys and sometimes tries to threaten other dogs when they play with her toy. Is getting training to fix this behaviour. Has become a lot less possessive over food. * With Cats: Although she growls at cats on walks, she stops quickly and passes by if you tell her to go. * Separation Anxiety: Experiences anxiety when left alone, barking and scratching at the door. Does not feel separation anxiety when with other dogs or strangers though. * Potty Training: Is very good with using pee pads. However, she remembers the first spot it was placed, so consistency in pad location is key. Prefers to go outside if possible and marks with her pee only when outside. Used to eat her poop, but doesn’t anymore. * Hygiene: Does excellently with baths and toothbrushing and enjoys brushing. Does not like having her ears cleaned, so mouths at her foster parent’s hand as a warning without biting. Is very afraid of nail clipping, so it’s mostly handled through walks. * Walks: Gets aggressive when birds or cats pass by. On days when she’s feeling irritated, she lunges with overstimulation and doesn't calm down when she sees other dogs. But on good days, she immediately refocuses on her guardian upon being called. Tends to pull on the leash hard only when other dogs are around. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness during a two-hour drive, but gets anxious when separated in the car. Tries to sit on your lap in such situation. If she’s tired, she will sleep on her cushion. * Biting: May bite defensively if you push her sideways, get close to her face, try to pick her up, or try to clean her ears. Be careful and take your time when you approach her. * Barking: Doesn’t bark even at strangers outside the door as long as they don’t ring the doorbell. Barks briefly when family returns to home. Also barks at times if new people suddenly stand up or make loud noises in the home. * Tricks: Understands the commands such as 'Sit down', 'Lie down', 'Turn', 'Nose', 'V', 'Paw', 'Wait', and 'Kiss'!
