Story
Hi everyone, my name is Benny Boy. I am a delightful and heavenly little man who is looking for someone to give me my place in the world. Here is a little info about me:Breed: Corgi mixAge: 2 yrsGender: maleWeight: 40 poundsHeight: 20 inches highHighlight(s): playful, clever, super sweet and loving I was found as a stray when I was  only a month old. My rescuer in Israel heard a puppy crying and discovered me hiding under a tree. I was so alone and scared and very hungry.  It is not known what happened to my mother and siblings but it is likely I was the only survivor. I was taken to a shelter where I stayed for the next year and a half until I was able to come to Canada. I am currently living in a foster home with six other dogs and I get along great with all of them. I would love to share my new home with another dog or two but am also happy to be the only dog. I love going for walks and playing with my people. But I am also very good at chilling out at home. If you decide to meet me (and you would be very smart to do so) I will impress you with how cute and sweet I am. I can be a bit slow to warm up to some people but it's always easy when I am approached by someone with a calm, gentle manner.  One of my favourite things is to eat. This makes me easy to train as I will do anything for a liver treat. In fact my current foster has taught me not to bark when I am startled or hear unusual noises. I have never shown any protection around food or toys. At home, I am the sweetest, snuggliest boy. I love to curl up next to my humans, to nap and get lots of pets and belly rubs. I like to chew but don't worry, I know which toys are mine and only chew them. I'm also a good guard dog and will alert you when someone is outside. It is no problem for me to stay home alone for a few hours as I am quiet and have no separation anxiety.  A home with a fenced yard will be best for me as I have a bit of bladder control problem which is being treated with medication.   Energy Level: moderate  I get along with:Dogs: yes!Cats: unknownKids: unknown Training: a bit of leash trainingLeash skills: someHouse trained: Not yet. Please be prepared to help me learn! I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is by donation.  Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##1675200##

Story
Introducing Hattu, the adorable farm pup with a heart of gold, rescued from a life tied to a chain and now ready to find his forever home through international adoption! At first, Hattu might seem a tad shy, but with just a bit of patience and space, he blossoms into your ultimate sidekick within 3-7 days. Despite his initial timidity, Hattu melts hearts by happily allowing strangers to shower him with pets and even carry him around like a furry prince! This sweet boy gets along swimmingly with other dogs, preferring to coexist rather than initiate play. Even when faced with curious stray cats, Hattu's gentle nature shines through as he calmly follows his handler without a hint of mischief. With a moderate energy level, Hattu enjoys outdoor walks but transforms into a laid-back cuddle bug indoors. Sure, he might pull on the leash out of sheer excitement, but he quickly heed his handler's guidance with unwavering obedience. Resource guarding? Not in Hattu's vocabulary! This lovable pup happily shares his toys and treats with everyone, furry friends included. And when nature calls or his tummy rumbles, a polite bark signals his needs, quickly quieting down when his handler says "no." Travelling in the car? No problem for Hattu! He's a pro in his crate, finding comfort and security on the go. While he's flexible with indoor and outdoor potty routines for now, Hattu's eager to settle into a consistent outdoor routine once his walking schedule is set. But here's the real secret to Hattu's heart—cozy blankets and, of course, FOOD! If you're ready to be his best friend and share in all his adorable antics, Hattu is waiting with open paws to join your family and fill your life with love and laughter. Story
My name is Mandu, and I'm here to share a little about myself in hopes of finding my forever family. I'm currently staying with a wonderful foster family in Toronto, but my story began with a bit of a rough patch. When I was just a young pup of about 5-6 months old, I encountered a serious leg injury, likely from a trap. It was tough, but thanks to some kind-hearted souls, I underwent surgery on August 5, 2022, which helped me get back on my paws and now I'm all set to find my forever home here in Canada or even the US! I absolutely adore humans and thrive on their love and attention. I'm super friendly and affectionate, always up for a cuddle session or a good ol' belly rub. Oh, and did I mention I'm great with kids? Yep, I've been hanging out with some kiddos under 13 years old, and I gotta say, we've formed quite the bond. I'm patient, gentle, and just love spending time with them. When it comes to other furry friends, I'm a social butterfly. I approach them with a playful attitude, always ready for a good romp around the yard. But if things get a little too rowdy, I know how to stand my ground and keep myself and my family safe. I'm a pro at walking on a leash, especially in quieter areas, though loud noises can startle me a bit. But don't worry, I'm not one to bark up a storm. So, what do you say? Are you the one I've been waiting for? If you're ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable adventures, then let's make it official! Story
This social butterfly goes by the name of Gucci, and her specialty is greeting strangers with a wagging tail and the biggest, brightest smile you've ever seen. However, she's a bit wary around young kids who might startle her with sudden touches or loud noises. When it comes to doggy friends, Gucci is a canine ambassador, confidently saying hello to dogs of all sizes and ages. She might feel a twinge of jealousy because, truth be told, she adores people more than anything! Yet, she's a lover, not a fighter, and enjoys grooming her doggy friends' faces while patiently waiting for her handler's attention. Cats? They catch her curious eye, but chasing them isn't her style. She's quite obedient when her handler says, "Let's go," trotting along without a fuss. With a moderate to high energy level, Gucci thrives on outdoor activities. Once she's had her fill of fun, she's the picture of calm indoors—ready to cuddle up with her special someone. While she can't contain her excitement and might pull on the leash, Gucci listens well to her handler's cues. In quieter settings, she's a pro leash-walker, but busy streets can startle her with loud noises, leading to the occasional bolt attempt. Resource guarding isn't her thing with people, though she might politely growl if other dogs invade her personal space. She's a star in a crate and turns into a zen master during car rides—especially when snug in her cozy crate, though a little boost might be needed for taller vehicles! If you're seeking an affectionate, cuddly, and loving companion,Gucci is waiting eagerly to be your perfect match. Contact our team NOW to make her dreams of a forever home come true! ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet DoYou 두유🩵 (DoYou means soy milk in Korean) Right after he was born, along with his 4 siblings and his mommy, they came to Korean City Shelter. Currently, Doyou is the last one who is waiting to be adopted. He loves his pup friends and plays very gently!! His social skill is on top of top.👍🏻 When introduced to dogs he meets for the first time, he wags and sniffs gently. Doyou is curious and energetic! He's calm but also he is actually a active, adorable, and mischievous pup. At the same time, DoYou can play by himself so he can be only dog or can live with other dog siblings. When his foster family is in the living room, Doyou doesn’t stay by himself in his room but will come to sit on his foster family’s lap. 💙 Health issues : Allergic to egg white and peanuts, has atopic dermatitis *Separation anxiety: None. DoYou can sleep by himself separately. *House training: He prefers to do his business outdoors. Altho, pretty good at using a pee pad for the small business. 💟 Personality / Characteristics *Doyou sometimes bark when hearing an unknown sound, but there is no unnecessary barking. If his foster tells him to stop, he will stop barking right away. *Hardly barks. *Doyou can walk, bathe, let his foster to clean his ears very gently. However, there is some nipping when his toenails get trimmed…🥺 *No carsickness. *Mastered sit, wait, give a paw, spin, nose, hi five, and slow!(If you say slow! he will eat slowly) Possible to do “Bark low!” and “Bark loud!” *Doyou’s favorites: Ripping papers play, ball play, tug play, treats, people, walking outside, nose walk toy, doggy friends, meat treats, cooked dried pollock treats. 💙 Foster Instagram: @doyousoymilk_foster
