Story
Loki 7 months old Male Corgi mix? 20-25 lbs This boy is definitely our “type”! He was surrendered to us from a very sweet owner who rescued him from a puppy mill and recently experienced some life changes where she couldn’t care for him. He needed a little bit of work - he wasn’t used to being crated, left alone, walking on leash, etc. but he has come so far with those things in his foster home! We’re ready to put out the feelers to see if we can find his perfect people. Loki has microphthalmia (small eyes) resulting in limited vision, and he’s also deaf. But all things considering he gets around very well! He is great with his nose and sniffs out a new friend quickly when they walk into the room. He is VERY friendly with dogs and people and has a very sound mind - he doesn’t spook or startle like a lot of deaf/blind dogs. He’s still a puppy and gets really excited to be with his people, so young small children would probably not be ideal in his forever home. - Dog friendly - Cats unknown - he’d probably try to play! - Crate trained - Mostly potty trained - Walks well on leash - Would prefer another dog friend in the home If you’re interested in adopting Loki please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt Local adopters only at this time due to his upcoming neuter which is included in his adoption fee. *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.

Story
Sidney is an approximately 1.5-year-old little guy weighing under 20 pounds who was rescued after police found him wandering alone along the highway in Puerto Rico. Despite his rough start, Sid is an incredibly loving dog with a sweet and affectionate personality. He gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys being around both people and canine friends. There is one thing Sid takes very seriously… mealtime! This little guy absolutely LOVES food and would learn quickly being snack motivated! Sid also walks nicely on a leash and is ready to enjoy all the simple things that come with finally having a safe and loving home. He’s a fun, affectionate little companion with lots of love to give—and he’s hoping his forever family finds him soon. 🐾 Sidney will arrive in NY mid-June and we would love to have a family waiting for him! Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Buttercup, a 7‑year‑old Pembroke Welsh Corgi whose sweet spirit and classic corgi charm are impossible not to love. Recently released from a breeding situation, she is discovering the joy of living in a real home—and she is absolutely thriving. Personality Buttercup starts off a bit shy, but once she feels safe, she becomes your devoted little shadow. She follows her foster mom everywhere and loves being close to her people. If you bend down to tie your shoes or pick something up, expect a gentle nudge—Buttercup believes every moment is an opportunity for affection. She greets her family with joyful bounces when they come home and always wants to be the first to say hello. Whether she’s curled up next to you on the couch or resting at your feet, Buttercup is happiest when she’s near her humans. Other Pets Buttercup gets along well with other dogs, though she would also be perfectly content as an only dog. Because of her past, she can be unsure around new or overly enthusiastic dogs. She’ll politely ask for space with a soft rumble when she needs it—but once she’s comfortable, she loves to bounce and play. Her signature corgi smile makes those moments even sweeter. Home Life & Training Buttercup is fully crate trained and making great progress with house training. She may mark initially in a new environment, but responds immediately to a firm “no” and learns quickly. She knows what to do once she’s outside and enjoys exploring the yard and sniffing everything she can. She is still building confidence on a leash. She isn’t fearful, just unsure, so for now she requires a fully fenced yard. With time and patience, she is expected to become more comfortable on walks. Buttercup hasn’t been around young children, and as a herding breed, she may do best in a home with older kids (10+). Ready to Love and Be Loved Buttercup is a gentle, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than a family to adore. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will follow you from room to room and fill your home with warmth, Buttercup may be your perfect match. Think Buttercup is the one? Apply today! Veterinary Care Buttercup is: Spayed Up to date on core vaccines Microchipped Tested negative for Heartworm Recently had a mini dental with extractions Adoption fee: $500    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 22, 2026, 9:09 am
