A companion who is so understanding and loves you just as you are. Doesn’t that sound wonderful? That would be Truffles. She has overcome so much in her short life and does have a warm up period to make sure she will not be hurt again. Who could blame her? Do you have that safe place where Truffles can feel welcome and loved? Truffles is a Welsh Corgi mix weighing just 22 pounds, and she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Her personality is quiet and incredibly ladylike, and when she runs, she prances like a tiny show horse…it is the sweetest thing to watch. Truffles is a little on the shy side and has a short warm-up period, but once she feels safe, her gentle and loving nature shines through. She came to us from a hoarding situation where she was not living in the best conditions, yet she carries none of that hardship with her. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, plays gently, and brings a calm, joyful presence wherever she goes. Truffles would make a loving companion in almost any home and is ready for the safe, cherished life she has always deserved. 🐾 Truffles is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Frederick, MD on August 22nd with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost.
