Story
Gus is a 7 year old male corgi. He enjoys being outside, playing ball, and sleeping. We have had him for 6 years and unfortunately him and my toddler just can’t seem to get along. An ideal home for Gus would be kid free and no other dogs. He will get along with other dogs, but will put them in their place if necessary. He has been fine with older kids (6+) but does not enjoy the toddler stage. He enjoys pets, but is not much of a cuddler. He likes doing his own thing most of the time. He is currently overweight and we’ve been trying to get him to lose weight, but he hasn’t lost much. He is still in good health, active, and lively and looking for a new home that he can enjoy.

We welcome this pup into our home and she’s a lot of fun. She’s feisty and energetic but snuggly and compassionate. House broken, loves treats, and great with other dogs and kids. We are sad to see her go but happy to see her get the attention that she needs.

Story
Loki is a sweet, 4 year old boy who like walks, cuddles, naps, and will do anything for a treat. He’s house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and great with dogs, cats, and kids. We obtained Loki from a family member a few months ago and unfortunately aren’t able to keep him long term but are not able to return him to the relative we obtained him from. He would be a great fit for any home!

Please contact Denise at 610-656-1291 (Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in New Castle, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 610-656-1291 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 January 15, 2026, 1:09 pm

Story
ZEEK & BELLA are Corgi/Jack Russell mixes – unrelated by blood but they've lived in the same household since puppy hood. Bella more resembles a small corgi and Zeek, a rough coated JRT. They are both active and love their walks! Bella is missing a hind paw due to overzealous cleaning from her mom as a newborn. It doesn't bother her although we are careful to not walk her on concrete and if she goes on longer hikes, a padded sock or boot will protect her stump while walking. It is important that she stays thin and fit. Zeek is a typical terrier – he loves his sister but he's not good with other dogs, especially male dogs. They both love people but will bark if somebody comes to the door. We would love to keep them together if possible. Zeek came to us neutered and Bella is scheduled for a spay on October 15th and they will both be available about a week after to allow for her recovery. Both are vaccinated, tested for heartworms and tick borne disease diseases and microchipped. Adoption $500 for the dynamic duo or $300 each if adopted separately. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you're interested in adding Zeek and Bella to your family! Bella goes to Kindergarten: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1AES4B7NFS/October 31, 2025, 8:58 am
