LILAC is a five-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who has been retired from an Amish breeder. She was not from a Puppy mill, but rather a small Amish farm where she was exposed to lots of animals and children. She gets along great with other dogs and cats and kids. She lived in an outbuilding so she’s never lived in an actual house but she appears to be pretty well housebroken, wanting to go out in the morning to potty. We’re hoping to get her into a foster home so we can assess her level of Housebrokeness. Lilac is delightful on walks – she picked up leash skills very quickly and is a smart girl and ready to learn more! Lilac has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm and tick diseases, microchip and ready to go home with you!  She would love a country home or a home with a large yard where she could sniff about with walks in the woods – which is all the stuff that she’s familiar with - and then all the comforts of Home which she has been missing - belly rubs on the couch etc. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you were the family that Lilac is looking for. I'm Yoko, an 11 year old, 13 pound Pomeranian Corgi mix looking for my happily ever after.  I would love my own person to snuggle with.  Walking around the yard is nice, but I still wait at the door for a leash and potty walk, since that’s how we did it in the city where I lived my whole life. I’m ok with not having a big yard because I prefer walking with my person many times a day unless it’s raining then a pee pad will do nicely. You will notice I have a short hair cut, my coat was very matted and I really don’t like to be brushed so a puppy cut keeps me cute and comfortable. I do well for grooming that doesn't involve a brush. I feel great for my age and have a spunky side. Cats and calmer small dogs don’t bother me as companions, but kids not so much . Visitors are always fun, especially men who are my favorite humans. I do consider myself a foodie too. Apples are one of my favorite treats, but I love anything you might be eating and want to share with me. If you want an adorable walking buddy, I am your girl! Meet little Bobby! 🐕 He and his two brothers are waiting to be adopted. They are 14 weeks old and weigh about 11 lbs. they will be under 20 lbs. full grown. Their Dad is a purebred Irish Black & Tan Jack Russell (8 lbs) and the Mom is 1/2 Jack Russell 1/2 Corgi. She weighs about 15 lbs. Both parents are my personal dogs. They have been raised in my home on my horse farm with my other dogs. They have been very well socialized and are super friendly and loving. I am being very particular as to who they are Re-homed to. I am looking for a home with at least one other dog (unless of course you would like to take 2😌) and a fenced yard as this breed requires lots of play time and an area to run. They would not do well crated all day. If you have experience with Jack Russells that would be a bonus as they are a special breed with lots of personality! There will be a very reasonable re-homing fee just to cover their shots and wormings.🐕❤️
