She is a 18 month old corgi named peaches. We adopted her from a breeder and she’s done well either my toddler and does amazing around other dogs. We are unfortunately moving to a place that doesn’t allow pets so we hope to find her a loving home before then. She has the basics of potty training down, but in full transparency she does have accidents occasionally. Especially at night if not taken out right before bed. She has most of her vaccinations excluding the recent boosters. I have her vaccinations in and vet history written down. She is very sweet and loves movie nights, cuddles, and treats. Her only command is sit, but she is very intelligent and could definitely pick up more. She’s lived her entire life in a small apartment, so she will need time to adjust and patience at first.

Due to serious health issues with his original owner, Dually and his brother, Diesel, are currently staying at HALAH while they wait for their permanent loving home. We adopted Shady from the Everman Animal Shelter about 7 years ago, making her about 9 now. She has been such a wonderful part of our family, but we’re living internationally now, and after trying to make it work, we felt that it wasn’t fair for her to be moving around all the time. She loves to stay at home! She’s extremely gentle, loving, and calm. We’ve had no problems with her and our daughter (now a toddler) since she was born, but I can tell that other little kids stress her out. She can be territorial over her things and spaces, making her an ideal guard dog, but not comfortable around other pets. As she is an older dog there are some habits that she’s had a tough time kicking, mainly barking when someone gets to the house, but I’m sure someone that’s better at dog training could help her get past that! She’s very smart and trainable and she loves to learn new things. We love this girl so much and she has been the best pet! Anyone would be lucky to take her home.

At just 6 months old, she is smart, eager to please, and very willing to learn. 🦮 She has done incredibly well with crate training and now sleeps through the night for 8 hours without accidents. 💕 Cuddle Bug would thrive in a home where she can truly be part of the family. She absolutely loves cuddling on the couch after training sessions. She already knows how to sit, stay for 30 seconds, wait patiently for permission before eating, get into the car or horse trailer, and heel very nicely on walks. She also understands “leave it.” She is truly a very good dog and will make an amazing companion for the right family.
